You can buy armor and weapons and items, you get gold, you gain XP, you learn new spells and attacks, defensive and offensive, you rank your abilities up. You can build fortresses, Stables, workshops, vaults, towers. You capture creatures and then study their spells and learn them. And they don't just give them to you, when you go to capture a creature, you have to complete a mini game to capture them and you must have a citadel built before doing so, then when you go to learn their skill, you have to complete objectives to learn their spells. You can forge weapons, items and armor. Man there is so much in this game it's crazy. And it's a freaking puzzle game. You can capture animals to mount so you'll ride them into combat, and then you can use their abilities while in combat, and you can even train your mounts so their abilities in combat get better.
You gain companions (party members) that help you while in combat. This is absolutely the best puzzle game ever made. Check it out. You can get it for Nintendo DS, PSP, PC or Xbox Live Arcade. I highly recommend this title
