I always said Hydro City but Hydrosity sounds cooler. It doesn't matter.

WHat made it so sad is that dude tried to get all technical over the word...I mean got deep into it. Talking on how Japanese spell english names...etc etc. All I could say is

He did it because "Hydro-city" is the correct way but he had to prove it. My point is, why is this even debate-able? Then I tried looking at it from the oppositing thought and what I came up with scares me that I went that far.

People tried explaining it like it was Hydro + Velocity = Hydrocity, then saying cause it's the fastest Sonic water level. That doesn't work because "city" as a suffix doesn't qualify the combination. The suffix -city means the "the state of being" and is only works with words using the suffix -ious which defines that the subject in question already is like being Velocious > state of Velocity, being atrocious > state of atrocity, being ferocious > state of ferocity. So Hydrocity in that sense would come from Hyrdocious which (a) isn't a word and (b) would mean "the state of being hydrated" which could not mean fast water or even the state of moving fast in/through water but rather a state of not being thirsty...

How do people even get "Hydrawsity" anyway? That's right, I'm spelling it how it sounds, because Hydrocity sounds exactly how it's spelled.

That said... I'm still highly excited about this game. It's the Sonic game I've been waiting for since Adventure 2.

Because this argument shouldn't even exist. It's a freaking city full of water, a hydro city, there should be no debating how it's pronounced!

BTW, just got 1:53:42 on the modern demo!
