Banjo Kazooie confirmed to be in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing

Remember that topic I made a couple of weeks back about the cover art for Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing with Banjo Kazooie on the cover? Well, it has been confirmed that Banjo Kazooie is making an OFFICIAL appearance in the Xbox 360 version of the game. I'll be honest with you guys, I like Banjo Kazooie and stuff like that but this is a SEGA game, not a every video game company game! Anyway, SEGA has also stated a while back that the consoles will get exclusive characters for certain ports so I wouldn't be surprised if Ratchet & Clank appeared in the PS3 version of the game and Mario in the Nintendo Wii version of the game. Also, couldn't SEGA or Sumo shorten the title of the game? Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing with Banjo Kazooie is extremely long in my opinion.

EDIT: According to Xbox.com, the Xbox 360 version of the game will have downloadable content. I'm not sure if this is confirmed yet and applies to all consoles so I'll keep you guys updated if I get more info.

In an early prototype of the game, Sonic raced on foot, Dr. Eggman rode an Eggpod with legs, Tails flew in a biplane, Amy Rose drove a car and Gilius Thunderhead from Golden Axe rode one of the Chickenleg creatures from the game. This version, however, was reportedly not fun to play, largely due to the varying sizes between the different characters, but also because the drift mechanic wouldn't work with racers who were on foot. It was later revised so that everyone would be in cars, bikes, or modified flyers.

Even more news! Xbox 360 avatars that you created will be playable in the main game! Here is a video showing this exclusive feature along with Banjo. However, I do not know at this time if the other ports will have exclusive characters or playable Miis in the Nintendo Wii version so I'll keep you guys updated.
