I really really want to either see an MM8 styled, or 3D sidescroller Megaman, but as long as I know the series isn't dead, I'm happy.

What if they use a robot design by the time they threw that Boss character contest?
The one that ended up with Clockman.EXE as the winning design...maybe they picked more than one design...

Too bad all the good Robot Master names were taken by Marvel and DC....just imagine Iron Man, Batman, and maybe even Spider-Man as Robot Masters!

I can kind of get an idea that its going to lead closer into the X series, since Capcom kind of left us hanging with Rockman 8 and Rockman 2: The Power Fighters' storyline. Most likely the secret playable character will be Forte. Be nice if Dr. Cossack, Kalinka, Duo, or the Rockman Killers make a return, but I doubt it.

By the way, they really need to put a Spike Man seriously, that would be Rockman's worst enemy or Pit Man for that matter, because Rockman tends to fall in them

. I guess MegaPhil better change the title to his game.

He always planned to change it. He got catched by surprise, though.

That said, I second the notion of a robot master called Spike Man. He would be the ideal successor to Needle Man (next to MM72's Inject Man, but that's neither here nor there

).

I did hear rumors that Bass has been confirmed as DLC, so we'll see.

With the plot of the game, i would have to guess that the 3rd character would be Duo.

All we know that has been rumored so far is that Roll got the virus and Mega Man needs a cure from Dr. Wily in order to fix her up and Bass is going to be DLC with gameplay similar to MM&B. Also, the game is going to be two player but it's unknown if this means story mode is two player or other game modes. I wonder who the new hero is going to be...
