5.0 aint bad ur screwed if u get it above 5.03 im pretty sure u can still mod it but i gotta phat so im sure if the process is the same ill do some research and then pm u the files u need

Well it doesn't really matter what Firmware you have as long as you have a Pandora's Battery and a MageStick if not then you have to find a way to rollback your Firmware

not true.... you don't need that battery or the mage stick...

i hacked mine the other night....

i have the video to show you just how to do it.... if you want to run ISO's on your PSP...

you need to read the "more info" section for what you will need and where to get it....

just don't do the PSX stuff.... it doesn't work if you add that stuff.... but since i did what this video said, i've been downloading like crazy!

Anyway, I'm downloading Dissidia right now, Does somebody have any idea if I have to put it in a folder (PSP/GAME/FFDissidia) or just leave it as it is? (CSO, Or ISO format)

Just leave it in the "CSO" or "ISO" format just in the root of your memory stick make a folder named "ISO" and place the files in there you can rename the files to what ever name you want

I already know about this but one thing that gets me is I never understand why people hide there MAC Address its stupid cause you can't do anything with it and it pisses me off basically the MAC Address is a PSP's second identifier next to the serial number which is the primary. And Users really think that the MAC is something that people can hack

wtf is a magestick?

... The only thing you really need is the Pandora's Battery.. I think you can run the custom firmware without it but that battery helps speed it up though.

yeah pandora and magic memory stick are obsolete basically wen i modded mine i went to irc psp hacks channel and my guy hooked me up in a 3 step process i dled the 5.03 upgrader, the hen loader for 5.03 on psp phat, and hellcats recovery flasher which installed m33-6 so its easy and i have all the files but his hen loader is different for phat,2000. and 3000. all pandora does is reset you to 2 1.5 which isnt needed unless your above 5.03

Some homebrew applications work better on slims than phats because they have more RAM in them. My phat could barely play SNES games on it. Although I heard phats could do certain things slims can't, like play newer games on 5.50 GEN but I can't verify that as I don't have a slim.

Ah. What's the difference between the 2? How does GEN-B work? I've been reading that that's the one that's more commonly used or something like that.
