Back in the old days, Capcom would release a Mega Man sequel every year.
It wouldn't be too unreasonable to expect that type of move from them, really.

I believe Nintendo Power is a pretty reliable source of Nintendo stuff...It's pretty much Nintendo's bible
I can pretty much predict that out of all the characters available,the third playable character would be either Rush,Auto or Roll.
Bass might be unlikely(as much as i want him to be in 8 bits) as he's a bad guys after all \-/o

I can kind of get an idea that its going to lead closer into the X series, since Capcom kind of left us hanging with Rockman 8 and Rockman 2: The Power Fighters' storyline. Most likely the secret playable character will be Forte. Be nice if Dr. Cossack, Kalinka, Duo, or the Rockman Killers make a return, but I doubt it.
By the way, they really need to put a Spike Man seriously, that would be Rockman's worst enemy or Pit Man for that matter, because Rockman tends to fall in them alot :|. I guess MegaPhil better change the title to his game.
He always planned to change it. He got catched by surprise, though.
That said, I second the notion of a robot master called Spike Man. He would be the ideal successor to Needle Man (next to MM72's Inject Man, but that's neither here nor there ;)).
I did hear rumors that Bass has been confirmed as DLC, so we'll see. :-$

sounds like a mix of Mega Man 5 and Mega Man 6 ...
but Mega Man 3 , Mega Man 7, and
Mega Man 8 had the most unique music IMO
OH , and I really like the level design for this one ...

I always hoped one day URN would decide he had the patience for it because he has so much talent. he came pretty close with Ms Marvel. Zvitor helped him finish her up. I guess he got a taste of what it takes to create a character & decided it's not for him . I do not fault him in anyway for that, I give him props for stepping up & admitting that. But it is a shame, because URN does have a lot of talent

URN has beastly talent and if he decides to do Strikeman I would be glad to help him with it so he doesn't have as much work. :) Maybe we could make it a team project like 4 or 5 people so it would get done quicker.

I really hope RM10 is better than RM9, because RM9 was the worst one in the series imo. Beat it 3 times and haven't played it since. It still says 9/29/08 on my Wii.I think this is funny because your not the only one alot of peopls say that and then Capcom is like "everyone loves MM9" I like the retro thing for titles like sf4 but the difference is there are all kinds of advances in the engine and game it self while still maintaining that core sf feel. These new Megaman games seem kinda sloppy to me why are they still using 8 bit graphics and sound? I mean if I can code a tetris or pong clone in an 8th grade computer class, 45 mins a day, for like a week how long do you think it takes capcom to make a new 8 bit megaman? theres 8 of em, and theyve been doing it for 20 years. Id bet probably a month of actual development. The rest of the time is likely spent on promotion. I think they should do like what they did in street fighter hd remix were they had the new hd graphics and gameplay options but allowed you to completely chang everything to the retro feel from graphics down to movesets. I love megaman ive grown up with it and i choose to criticize it for that very reason.

Beated the game on Easy mode with Mega Man a couple of minutes ago and I must admit, the game is pretty fun and in my opinion, a lot better than Mega Man 9. I was also surprised at who I fought on the first stage of Wily's Castle. I would like to say their names, but I don't want to spoil it for you. ;)

Success! Yeah, my "someones" were crossed.
Wow, either my skills are still sharp as a razor, or MM10 was easier to clear than I anticipated. By the end of the game yesterday, I had the weaknesses down, and cleared the final bosses in two tries each.
Also, this is alot easier on Protoman than MM9. I cleared 5 Masters in a half hour, which would have taken me at least 1-1/2 hours on MM9, if not longer.

Only vids I saw were the Trailer and the CES vids. I just sat down and started playing, didn't look up nothing. There are a few franchises I refuse to cheat on, Mega Man is one of them.

They made him so good there was just no point in playing as megaman.
Dashing, dash jump, double jump, dashing INTO double jumps and aiming.
what did megaman has? Charge shot and slide. Yay.

Actually it was still easier for Rockman. Rockman could defeat bosses easier than Forte as well as certain enemies.

Well, I found the the actual levels to be much easier with bass then with megaman.

Every Megaman game is awsome. (Except ZX, and like EXE. (which I dislike due to having nothing to do with the story of the other like, 20 games.)

Classic, X, Zero, ZX and Legends are all in the same main timeline.
EXE/Battle Newtork and Ryuusei/Starforce are in in the same alternate timeline.
