Hello everyone! I'm here asking if someone knows how can I modify and already made MUGEN char or mainly certain moves without doing any new coding just using the same one that was already there for the move that your replacing. An example that I mean by this is like this. I would like to let's say change the hadouken that Dan Hibiki has to the one that Ryu uses, but I don't want write a new code for replacing that hadouken just use the same code it already has. How can I do that in Fighter Factory? I've searched every where on the net but haven't found anything like that. Can anyone help? I would be most appreciated if you can. Thanks for your time and have a blessed evening. Peach :fancy:

P.S. If anyone is still wondering, I'm still working on my SNES MK2 Johnny Cage. I'm not gonna stop until hes complete. :D

You can't is the short answer. When something acts differently it's because it has been coded that way and in many cases the sprites are designed to work with it.

Even though you probably could increase the amount of time dan's hadouken lived on screen, you would still have to alter the animation to fit, that's assuming it's even coded the same as ryu's. And it might not be. The example you have is at best, possible. Pick a more complicated attack than a projectile and you're stuffed.

Thanks for the responce Cyanide. I appreciate a lot. Also I didn't want to pick a complicated move until I can get this right and know what to do. Thanks why I picked the projectile and plus I really hate Dan's fireball and his Dankyaku. Never was a fan of it.

Well, you're going to be learning to code then. Post dans fireball states and i'll walk you through what you'd do to make that attack specifically travel across the screen rather than just stopping.
