I assume that's from a completely clean load. No additional screenpacks or anything like that, just the absolute default?

Most people get to the fight point without issues provided it opens in the first place. The point at which you're having issues is... odd if it's not character related. Therefore, is this a totally clean DL with no further modifications made or characters from other mugens implemented.

I'm assuming yes but we need to be sure before you play with the mugen.cfg to see what needs correcting.

default works fine, my old screen packs aren't working.

The above image is what happens when I try to use 1.1 with a screenpack.

That's a bit better. 1.1 changed rather a lot on the screenpack front and they are known not to work that well between versions.

If you want to use it, open the default screenpack system.def alongside your custom system.def. Scroll down line by line. If a parameter is missing, to take an example, localcoord, add it with the same values as in the system.def.

If you have something like notepad++ and the compare tool you can look at all the bits that are different, it'll highlight all the numbers, but more importantly should highlight the differing lines as well.

SFF should function fine. Fight.def and system.def not so much.
