any video making program recommended for low spec pc?

Greetings everyone..
I need your help everyone,
i'm quite having a hard time using some video recording program..

I used some of the following:

 hypercam2- Its way too fast and too slow, somehow no sounds.
 Fraps - It didnt work even i pressed the video button...

So my question is..Is there a video making software that is too friendly to the low spec pc?
