Title: SMART PALETTES

I'm in the middle of a project. Yet, I have no clue on how to use smart palette. Can anyone help me with this? I've looked for videos as well as the guides and tutorials section and could not find anything. If I overlooked anything I apologize in advance. I tried to look slowly and carefully.
