At NYCC a new stage was revealed. Stage is set in New York and has Alex in the background fixing a car!

Alex is now a mechanic . Well at least he in the game.....as a bg character. But ehhh who knows , he MIGHT show up as a dlc. Aint holdin my breath for em and he aint one of my favs anways. But cool to see him in the game some way. I heard they thinkin bout addin sf3 characters down the line as dlc. So hopefully he will be in there as i figure he will.

I am still loking forward to the last 2 on the main roster to show up amd any hi ts and ono trollin.

. Karin, Rashid, Laura, R.mika and Ken seem to be gettin used a lot at small preview tourneys and actually being plahed very well. Petty much anyone in the game is a cannon explosion. Rashid is insane and got some sweet setups into his critical art. Like that guy. Plus lot of Laura users comin out too at these tourneys. Good good!!

Sooo... General thoughts on the roster so far? I am liking it. Seems like more than just Super Turbo and friends. There are some characters I want to see to make it feel a bit more familiar, but it's pretty fresh so far.

I don't know I kind of have mix feeling. I mean for one I think its small and I know they are gonna add more but still. Two, street fighter 3 cast are ignore. The stages are blahh, I don't understand why Birdie's skin was lighten or Laura's skin should have been darker. And the last thing I'm kind of afraid to say

Great presentation, great graphics and the gameplay seems sharp but the roster is a bit, "meh".
Capcom always stumbled whith new characters for this franchise.

I got to play the beta phase 2 yesterday! Only Vega and R. Mika were available. Only got to play one online match, but I actually recorded it in time!

The game looked great and felt pretty good. I played with a PS4 controller. Not sure how I liked how some of it felt. Did a super art or whatever they're called sometimes when I didn't mean to.

So far i love the roster. Kept it simple and gives time to learn the roster and not flooded when you probably only wind up playin wirh less than half. This way you get to try out the first rounders before dlc time kicks in.

Like how the game flows, the characters looks great ( minus the buggy clipping for some characters ), The game has a bit of everything , rushdown game has to be on point this time and very cat and mouse game with all out brawlin. Some cool zoning is in with those who are zoners ...projectiles mind you. I like the new folks , necalli may not be my fav of them but he can grow on ya more i see good folks using him good.

I am not worried about a sf3 presence as it to me was pretty meh anyway, only had a few cool characters, the rest just knockoffs or kinda corny. Oh and as for Laura....she is Brazillian. ...she just about right skin tone to me. I got brazillian friends here and they are not as dark as me by a long shot and i am not dark. Only one guy i know is my complexion but he is afro brazillian but still lighter than me. Birdie.....is Birdie, he just darker in this style but i reckon he woulda been that brown anyway.

Rashid looks to be a problem in the right good hands....matter a fact....all of them can be! Everyone seems to have an close up game and not stricted to being a bonifide zoner....thank god. I love R.Mika and Laura gameplay, good mixing it up game in close and Laura v skill can put you in a good range for some trap setting. Vega is def a must play for me, i like how they done him this game. SFV is def gonna be the best one, especially cause its gonna sell systems and the learning curve is still a chess match but more in your face with it. Good capcom good!

So I've been playing the beta and no online matches have been coming up for me. Just stuck in training mode all the time.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

EDIT: Nvm, looks like their down right now. Seems like it's always down. Hard to tell when it's up and running for online matches. :/

You know what bro, i think they had this same problem before with the first beta. It was up then just blew out . I have no clue whats up with their servers but maybe they been gettin overloaded with all the downloading.

I got in a few matches and lost them all.

In my defense I'm used to Third Strike.

It's fun, playing matches online. It feels much more competitive. My connection with the server is down again. <_<
Stupid preorder beta... At least I didn't have to have a Playstation Plus membership to play. I'm new to the PS4, so I'm still seeing what I should pay for and what I can get around having to buy.

I remember that from demo, too. As far as Alex goes...that MAY be him in the background but doesn't mean he won't be on the roster .

Yeah i saw that too. So he so far has been noted that he may be in the game cause of the voice files. But i also around he was also gonna be a dlc character too comin. So Alex gonna make a debut after all.

What the...Ghost Lando?! Anywho, ya I think he's gonna be dlc. I hope not but if so he'll be worth it I'm sure. His moveset is just crucial.
