Really digging SFV's fighting system.

Is the announcer's conventional phrasing a placeholder? Is he no longer using the unique phrases that made SFA3, SF3TS and the SFIV series stand out?

Seems to me that Vega must be an inspiration of my Vega edit from the Sprite Contest (Nationalized characters theme) I won (I'm sure IMT remember this).

I'm surprised to see him wearing a blouse. Boy, Capcom sure does look around onto Mugen. It's nice to see Capcom getting inspirations from us and other Mugen communities.

Yes and no
Agreed, they look to mugen at times for inspiration. However, the sad part is, they should always look to mugen and fans for ideas. Think about this-

Who should you listen to more, the guy who will make a 140 character comment on twitter, or the guy who's willing to draw the character 400+ times, code it and release it for free to the internet if you refuse to add them to your official roster

Nice to see them bringing back a fan favorite. Even though she doesn't seem too different from usual, which is a bit of a let down considering how much they're changing for other characters

I'm happy to see Mike back. I'm not disappointing about Capcom not changing her up like the others since she only appeared in SFA3. For the most part all the other SF characters that got changed up have appeared multiple times in various iterations of SF.

I saw this earlier this afternoon while at work and I was thinking I guess that's a sign Alex is coming too because him, Mika and I think one other character was all in a Rumor leak pic list a couple months back that was going around that will make it to the line up

Actually it was both of them. I kept seeing some pic list that was going around. MFG had it and then I saw it at two different SFV FB group pages....

Been around to different gamin forums and i swear i saw some really

babies around cause they fearin a character they wanted in sfv so bad ( minus the fact some were so far fetched and why da hell would they put in character from a long ago dead capcom game with no ties to sf..

) wont ever make it to sfv and pretty much tossin salads about how R Mika is just for pervs and her fans got what they wanted cause of all the cryin and whining and now capcom might suck because of this one awesome lovely beautiful bodied lady and her pal are in it?

Well, the only problem I had with her is that she was totally ridiculous and useless in SFA3. At least it seems thay changed her gameplay enough, so thankfully no more rings coming out of nowhere.

See you kinda got a point there but at same time....she is.....indifferent in SFA3. Lol. I agree she was ridiculous in gameplay but in same token her asset to her mechanics was to pretty much not play her as you would a standard street fighter character. I failed miserably durin my first outings learning her , those commamds of hers was crazy and let alone chaining stuff was.... work. So i decided to abandon the SF methods and try using her in a different tone. Chaining the specials and play a low key defense but use her awkward movesets very offensively. There are some good vids around of other players showin just how funky and a beast she can be in sfa3 if you use her correctly. She isnt a straight forward fighter like ryu, ken, chun li, sakura and such. Since defensive is shy lightweight , you have to play hard pressure game and mix up her normals into specials into commands. Once you nail the formula....can mix and chain mix match damn near anything into almost anything. She is a beast in the right hands and dedication is required to master her sfa3 version.

This version takes a lot out of the back reachin around to scratch an itch and simplifies the gameplay to ....welll much more perfection if ya ask me. People may think she didnt change...wrong, she changed for the better too, combo chains are much more complete and even still has those pausetime breaks, it flows more smoothly now. Her V moves are sweeeeeeeet!!! She is a bonifide grappler now and i loce how you can on the fly chain with her and tag team. She deserved to be in sf5 and its showin so far to be a RAAAIIIIIIINNNNBOOOOWWWWW good choice!

Ridiculous as capcom uses female characters almost Peeled, this seems more a hentai, they should better respect their female characters.
