I like the idea and the sprites but I just can't see bombman's face like that it looks wrong.... I think it's the eyes but I'm not sure....So how is his face now? I slightly edited it.

Bombman should be fat because he's round like a bomb~ He's not bony like Rockman. Using Gregarlink10's Rockman Rockman sprites would work as a base for certain sprites.

Try spriting legs, arms and head separately, then you assemble them in the big-black ball that is his belly.Basically that's what I am doing but I still have to sprite the way the bomb is facing.

Okay so I am proud to say Bombman's sprite are just about 25% but I have bad news I will be taking a short brake from him for school work. well the way the project was presented to me if you are working on a mega man project its in. Reason member this is project is open to forum members. The only problem i seen with your work being submitted into the project was Mew had the same wip.

And that was really putting the sprites in a template, then coppy/pasting codes from open source characters like ken x.

Have you tried a system recovery program?
It can get back data that was deleted. I used THIS (http://www.recovermyfiles.com/) (You could probably find a torrent if you looked.) when my hard drive crashed and was able to recover roughly 85% of what I lost.
That includes most of my sprites, on this program, .PCX files were called paintbrush files.

The same thing almost happened to me when I was making Chameleon... but oh man.. I got right in there when I got back, turned on my computer, logged in, and went WTF!!!! I knew who it was too... so... they got it good...

P.S. They gave my computer like 100s of small viruses... but it was so bad I had to put it in safe mode without networking to do anything... Even safe mode with networking was crashing...

i agree with DT. Im loving it.
I think the face for the sig boman look fine as is cause it gives him a more serious look.

That looks cool for a stance but I would make Bombman's head look towards player 2.This will be a win pose. I just made this for the shield, but this is one of the original win poses I wanted.

well that could be a easter egg of sorts. When he;s set on fire he blows up, not like KABOOM but but a small explosion that leaves him black with only his eyes showing looneytoons style. :)

maybe even make him take some damage. Of course it will deal out more than he will take. But it could be like a real desperation move. Both players have a small amount of life & time is running out. Do this hyper & the match ends in a draw.

So its a Rufus style sweeping kick with a twist. A short ranged bomb throw to protect his butt. lol. So like I said only for feedback. If you(IMT) think that this would be a little cheap (Spamming or other) then I will change it.
About that stance: So I guess it was a Win :thumbsup:
I got an idea since he's Bombman and he sorta has a wrestling like stance, then his level 3 should be Swanton Bomb...;*))
Just a thought...
I think you should make Bombman a mix of grappling/close range/projectile fighter. He could have smart moves such as throwing the opponent on the wall, and as he bounces, you could either juggle combo him, use an anti-aerial grapple move or toss a bomb upwards.
I'm mostly with MDII on this one. Designing the moves to look a bit like Rufus', maybe add some grapples in there to take advantage of his stance, and add some bomb throwing, and I think it'd be cool. No Megaman character has been designed with grappling in mind, and with that hyper I mentioned earlier, it makes sense to have Bombman be one.This will his fight style so I hope everyone is on board. ;D

Like I did with hobgoblin? The pumpkin bombs that drop out of his glider sit on the ground & explode later. I called it the pumpkin patch. I really like a move like that. You should do something like it for Bomb man.
I don't really like it in the the bomb/sweep, though.

I feel his bombs are a little small (personal preference, I grew up playing Bomberman). See the screenshot where he's fighting Metalman? I'm thinking they'd look cool a little smaller than the orangey-red middle circle of his Metal blade. Maybe you could use these for a base? Just a thought, take it or leave it. :P

I just had another thought (2 in 1 day!), Bombman was originally created to be a demolitionist at construction sites. How about a move where he throws a bomb upward and rocks and debri come falling down, or he throws a bomb down at the ground and rocks come flying upward?

Ya know, I think I have something of an idea for a Bombman hyper. Basically, Bomb Man's torso is a giant bomb, I think. So how about a hyper where he grabs his opponent and then explodes?

Hyper Bomb -
He looks alright, but i think he should look more buff. he seemed more muscley in the first MegaMan. And i think his hyper should either be one giant bomb, or about 10 normal sized bombs for a chain combo. And possibly, a picture of a nuke going off in the background. And if you wanted to kae it funny, play that annoying viral sound of "WHAT THE F***!!!! Full Arsenal Assault w/Napalm Man -
Also I thought of a hyper it involves Napalm Man and Commando Man in a full arsenal assault but there are no sprite with Commando Man and if I could use someones Napalm Man sprite that would be awesome or plz try to find some! I would appreciate it much. ;D
Juggling Bombs -
So what I'm thinking is a minor hyper where he performs an awesome combo on his opponent, and each hit sends out a small explosion extending his reach, and making the attacks more powerful. Or he could juggle bombs at his opponent's head. I just like throwing out ideas.
Swanton Bomb -
I got an idea since he's Bombman and he sorta has a wrestling like stance, then his level 3 should be Swanton Bomb...
Just a thought...
Raining Bombs -
Okay so I was thinking of this while I was day dreaming(lol) how about a hyper where Bombman is hugging a whole bunch of bombs in his arms(like he was carrying a load of laundry) and then throws them up into the sky. Making it rain bombs.. just an idea
Incoming Debri -
I just had another thought (2 in 1 day!), Bombman was originally created to be a demolitionist at construction sites. How about a move where he throws a bomb upward and rocks and debri come falling down, or he throws a bomb down at the ground and rocks come flying upward?

His head, arms and legs separated from body, so I though why Bomb Man couldn't jump, separate his head, arms and legs, and there would be only body left as big bomb with fuse? It also could be "dismantled" by enemy if he do enough damage in 5 seconds or so or detonate in Bomberman's cross pattern.
