@O yeah, the guy can get super strong. He gets stronger with every hit. I honestly have no idea, how this char will be coded. The guy can absorb any physical energy and enhance his power.
I am aware of this - and this is easy to be coded. What I mean is that I think he is too..bulky, ins't it?

You know yourself there are different interpretations of a character in comics, same as in mugen. I choose to approach a more intimidating look.
So I combined a few looks
He is pretty big here

And gave him this outfit:

Took a small break from Shaw and started a new design for Daken. I have a few sprites done already, but the process is going slow, 'cause I want to make him in detail.
Here's a sample:

Thanks, guys. Now the reason I started Daken is to have him do a Fastball Special hyper. I'm a bit disappointed Capcom didn't do that with Wolverine since it's one of his signature moves.
Now who will be good enough to replace Colossus in this move?

Kind of hard to answer, as Daken wil be from a future time line and have to fight with the X-men (if I understood well the story plot) and probably doesn't have friends to team with.
I can't imagine any mate that might help an unknown mutant "terminator" from the future ... but another mutant "terminator" from the future which appears through a time portal only to aid him a couple of seconds before vanishing. If that doesn't sound ridiculous for you, the couple would be anyone, like a future Colossus or a future Beast. You can use the looks of "The age of Apocalypse" comic-book for inspiration.

Good luck and great work.

Thanks for the suggestions, man. Would be cool for a Age of Apoc char. And since you brought the discussion here, Daken will have two versions;
One, the comic book Daken we all know and the DOFP game Daken which will be slightly different.
I was thinking maybe Cyber could do the work.

Hum, I don't think Beast has enough strength to do it.

If not Cyber, maybe Romulus for the Fastball special?

what about a super fastball double special?!

Where Cyber throws both Daken and Romulus!

And with explosions in the background, heaps of blood! robots and giant turtles too. It would be awesome!!!

(now read that in Michael Bay's voice)

Hey, guys, what would fit Nightcrawler more for a stage, a church or a circus?
