I seem to have a new wip. Ribbit!
A special thanks goes out to Calamix for letting me use his Power Battle Toadman as by starting base.
I have been working on Toadman for a while now, I was going to wait a little longer to announce but I figured today would be good day to start to show him off.

As of yet I don't have any voices. I hope eventually someone might have a idea and volunteer.
I could make a video but I would prefer to shot screen shots at the moment. A video is eventually in Toadman's future at some point.

Hehe well here is the run down
Metalman, Crashman, Airman, Lou, Elecman, Fireman, Toadman, the next is not announced but in my sig. :-"
I already know which robot is next after that I'm just not going to give it away as of yet.
This is pretty cool, but are you ever going to finish the other robot masters before you start working on another one? It's a great wip and all but if it was me, I would finish the old ones before I announce it. But that's just my opinion. :P
Anyway, great work so far. Looking forward for some more news on him. :thumbsup:
Actually with all my other wips the sprites are completely done and are all at various stages of coding by a few different people. I'm not much of a coder so I always have a partner to code once I finish spriting. Then once I am done spriting a character and someone is coding it I move on and sprite my next character. Coding takes time and a character is only as good as it coder. ;)
Don't worry some of my wips will find their way into your mugen very soon I promise. Be excited. ;D

how does the acid rain work? Is it just a full screen hitbox?
Perhaps you can make it work but maybe something similar to the rainstorm hyper from Loganir's Thor would work better.

I was actually thinking the same thing. I can make a tongue come out of his mouth/chest when it opens like I currently have the missiles. Like in the below screen shot. :)
The big question is, if we download him when he's done, will he give our comp's warts?

I think we've capped the limit of robot masters allow in EoH, the megaman franchise is already well represented there.
But Lapacho IS working with the Team Reploid project, so Toad Man will help them get one step closer.

I have a redone Toadman remix song already. The guy that made the cool song I previously used for Metalman and Crashman only did every song for Megaman 2.
The Toadman stage was made by Enscripture for Diveman, then Calamix changed it up for Toadman. ;D

^^(PM)^ Good idea. Disney brings live animals in for their animators to study and it usually works out well. Also, what was Toadman's original function prior to becoming a Robot Master? Their might be some ideas there. Or did Capcom stop doing that by this point?

I don't know if anyone else has suggested this before, but it could be interesting if he had moves from Toadman.EXE aswell, just to increase his movelist. :S
Sorry, unfortunately I don't think any of his exe moves fit in with what I'm making. All he does in exe is use a gun, shoot music notes/tadpoles, have a sword and teleport. I was considering having him shoot with a buster for a move but decided to go with missiles and tongue attacks instead.

I was going to post this mid next week but since I'll be away on vacation here is is early.

I have a strange but interesting idea. What if he had a special move where he did a special low frog hop where he ducks down avoiding all attacks and leaps at the enemy for a few special attacks. During the duration of the duck he could be invincible but during the leap he could be attackable. you could spread the move out into 3 versions like low,medium, hard and in each both the duck part of it could be shorter for low version with longest duration of the duck being for hard version. The leap part of it could be short distance for the short version, a little longer for the medium version, and longest (full screen) for the hard version. This could create opportunity for Toadman to approach his opponents and could open up possible pressure strings that could lead to massive combo opportunities. This is something that just came to me and I just decided to post it whether you like it or not
