you know what, i wouldnt be surprised if some dude tried to rob a bank in the turtles masks. its someone dressed as Splinter that would scrare the crap out of me. even after they leave.

Well this is a piece i am working on . Trying something different for a changeup.

I call it Power Girl Soaring. i still want to do way more details to it as i am learning more how to use Gimp.

ehhh hope its aight for now what i have done.

Big respect to Rage , i admire you skills in making things so i tryin my hand a bit at some canvas style stuff but with GIMP till i get another editor.

well thank ya very much homie. i was actually trying out gimp to do more stuff and my mom paints canvas art. she is college doing art and is a very cool painter. i learned from her when i was young but i havent done anything like her stuff in a long long time. so i figured well let me try something different with sprites and canvas stuff. so i used my sprite and i did some stuff with the brush tool, lasso , shaders, fuzzy effects and whole bunch of other stuff to see what i could make. i think it turned out kind cool but i do wanna add more to it in details with trying out other things in it or i will port it over to a photoshop and see what that can do.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained bro.

wow its been a long while since i did a sprite not related to the ABr and CROM the game project . so i asked a question about tryin out some spriting and wanted to do a anime style character but gave a cool couple types to leave out. Zvitor and cool homie BDC gave me 2 suggestions Zvitors was a seint seiya style character and BDC was to do the BOBOBOBO dude. spriting more and more helps me learn some things and to improve my own work. the better i get the better sprites i can lace doing different style and as well my own lil twists on those styles.

first up a seint seiya style character.

i got a few pixels i need to really clean up especially that shin guard.

thanx guys. i really appreciate the comments . that sprite was a Zvitor request. it still gonna get a redo on the legs guards at the knees and that one arm guard when i have time to get crackin again. plus do that BOBOBOBO dude too. i think to help me improve my spriting skills i wanna do edits of anime characters not done yet in mugen or some cool ones that have just not like this.

so i guess till i can get to doing them sideline of projects people can just make a request here for anime characters for me to try and sprite. i prefer fighter type characters male or female ( and that is not in the ABR project already) that would be pretty neat to see. who knows since i will mostly wip solo anime stuff after projects done i will make them for mugen fully.

i was originally just gonna make whoever i wanted but i think a cool thing to do is make some that people would like to see that i think are cool too to have in mugen. so you wanna make a request anime character sprite for me to try an edit of in just a sprite , post a pic or vid of the character in question and when i got some free off time i can take a stab at it.

on a lil note: i have always felt anime deserves a good spot in mugen , it has had

of influence on western cartoons , movies and all kinds of things . There are

of cool Anime fans around the community here that as well are comic fans. i like diversity to be mugen and keep it going and for me bringing to life some characters we all like, love and good fans of means

. i hope more creators step up to make some and do good quality on them as much as they do on comic style characters. Thats one reason , a major one why i got into wanting to do something in mugen . There wasnt any really good ones around and i always wondered why people just overlooked them. there are some cool ones but its the usual suspects. i want to make mostly anime characters ( not chibis!lol) regular size , not ever made and have cool fans of as well as my own anime nerdism and cool so we all get to have fun with them. heck i might wanna even do some silver hawk characters in mugen
