Ok, if you could only choose ONE fighting game to play for the rest of your life what would it be? And why?
For me it would have to be Super Street Fighter II Turbo, I just have too many fond memories of this one and out of all the fighting games there are, this the one I'm best at. I also love the general system and timing and various combos, like redizzies and crossups. This is Capcom's true masterpiece and I'll take it over any other fighter out there

it would normally be marvel vs capcom 2 but instead i pick Marvel Super Heroes Vs Street Fighter. i couldn't hear "wanna take you for a ride" that many times... :-\

Bushido Blade 2. Most realistic samurai fighting ever on a PS1, and i haven't gotten tired of it, even after about 8 years.

I would pick Marvel VS Capcom, the first one.
Its got some great characters and fun stages, everyone's got a different ending.
Lots of fond memorys of that game.

I don't know, that's a toughy. Either MvC2 or Tekken 5 since I play those two the most. Another I would choose would be the original Soul Calibur, it was the best in the series.

I would say my mugen. I'll never get tired of it as long as I can alter it, make stages, chars, screenpack, etc.
But since you said official,
Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I'd probably get bored of it though unless I had people to play with.

I say Marvel vs. Capcom for Dreamcast. Would pick MvC2 but it's boring with have the same ending over and over after you beat Abyss.

I would choose Street fighter Alpha 2 gold for the sega saturn I know crazy right great memories of this game this is when I was really into fighting games and I just fell in love with gouki, and evil ryu

I was gonna pick that one, It's my favorite of the Alpha series, but I prefer the gameplay of SSFIIT more. Good to see a Sega Saturn fan among us

That's an action-rpg, not a fighting game. For me, it would be King of fighters 98. There's 38 characters, and several have alternate versions, making the total character count 50+. The gameplay is very good, as the characters are balanced, button mashing won't get you anywhere, and it has considerble depth. Most of the character designs are good, and the characters themselves are packed with personality. In short, this game is very good and could last me a long time, and is probally what truly got me into fighting games.
