The character's Icon in the Roster is NOT MOVING

Hello Everyone, well I am kinda stuck in this Mugen Thing recently.
I downloaded this complete mugen game the other day called "Dynamic Fighters" & here is the game's Video - "

So what I wanted is to Re-arrange the Order of the characters in the Roster according to my own style
& there comes the MAIN PROBLEM, the character ICON in the Roster IS NOT MOVING.
I changed the Arrangement of the characters by editing "select.DEF" & what happened was that the Order did change,
but the ICON IS STILL IN THE SAME POSITION, Its still Fixed & NOT MOVING.
its like this that if i surf from left to Right in the Roster. the Selecting Slot directly shifts to a Top corner or something, according to how I edited the select.DEF , but the ICON is still in the same position as before.
I would Really appreciate if someone could help me with this. Please help & Thanks In Advance

I haven't looked at the video yet, but by reading what you wrote
the problem would not be steamed in the select.def

the character icon might be a sprite in the system.sff
open that file in the fighter factory and see if your select screen turns up
if its there then that's your issue, and you'd have to physically move the icons around on that pic with a paintshop program
