Hayato Nekketsu attempt

Trying my hand at making a sprite based on the 'Rival Schools' franchise. In this case it's the slightly over-zealous (and bamboo sword/kendo stick-wielding) Physical Education teacher, Hayato Nekketsu.

Hope it's looking good.


Used the "Final Fight" edit of SFA3 Cody (the source of which I've lost track of, but credit to whoever did said sprite) for the body, the sword of Hayato Kanzaki (Star Gladiator), and a mixture of the faces of Cody and Hashimoto from 'Kakuge Yaro' for the head.

Plus the dog-tags from Guile edited into a whistle.

Just gotta add his gym overshirt. >.>;

Would LOVE to have this become a mugen-playable character... just don't know how one could adapt some of Hayato's moves to mugen... especially the special where he makes his opponent do ten push-ups before thwacking them with his kendo stick.

That's pretty cool there. hopefully he gets fully animated and coded on a pots style. Add in a tag in super too of one of the other Rival school characters
