I dont mind and artist own interpretation but they distorted (In my opinion) the integrity of the character. They gave him FINGERS. The boxing glove like hands was one of Knux trade marks (signature features)

Man I really really don't like Knuckles' design, he's my favorite character since I was a little kid and this looks just bad IMO.

Everyone, i am not here to fight, and stop complaining about this new design.

It is not replacing the old universe. Sega of America president and COO John Chen told this: Sonic Boom will not be replacing the original franchise.

I'd say that since we are players, we have more right to complain, after all, the design help us like the game, and this design is already horrible enough, I really hope the gameplay isn't crap.

We've heard the statement in the past that redesign will not replace the "Main" design ... but will see what happens...

I'm not sure what to think of these designs.. Everyone but Knuckles looks alright I guess, (though Sonic's arms aren't supposed to be blue, but who cares) I'm just not sure why they chose that song of all other songs for the teaser video.

And there seems to be a lot of misuse of bandages all over the characters.

Everyone but Tails looks horrible. I can see them trying to make the chars look like they can physically do the feats they are known for (long legs = speed, big arms = strength) and Sonic has been made to look a itty bit more like a real hedgehog, but more than anything they are making this Furry friendly. Nothing wrong with furries, but just the look, the human/fursuit proportions and all the dubstep = def furry friendly sonic. Nah, son.
