Hi Guys, i am new to all this mugen stuff, and to start i am trying to do Krypto (Superman/Superboy's pet).

I dont know about anyone working on it, so i thought it could be fun to make it ....

Now my questions. for you guys.

I am using the sprites of Poppy from Samurai Shodown and using FF Ultimate to edit them.

But i think i am going to slow, because i am editing each sprite, pixel by pixel .... Do you know about any tool to make the spriting work fast??? ....

Do you have some Cape's pack or know about sprites that i can use for Krypto's cape??? ... because i am creating it from zero on each sprite, and in animation looks crappy this way ......

Please guys, any advice or experiences on your first steps creating sprites it will really help me .....

(When i finish all the sprites, i'll be back with more questions about coding XD)

Sure!!! ... i like your sprites for the body for Krypto ... I think its better than poppy's body because of the size (Krypto is not a small dog) ..... But the head i was thinking in making it more real, and less toon ...

Yo te sugeriria que te descargues photo paint y hagas una planilla con todos los sprites de Puppy. Despues vas modificando color por color. Con eso terminas todos los sprites en el mismo tiempo que te lleva hacer 1 sprite.

Igual si te puedo ir ayudando en algo me dices.

Suerte con el proyecto, ese gato linterna roja ya merece a alguien que le quite lo listo.

Si ya sabes sacar los sprites de un sff (con el programa que gustes) lo siguiente que tienes que hacer es sacar todos los pcx DISTINTOS de Puppy. Si le das "Exportar todo como pcx" solo fijate que cuando los pegues en tu plantilla no repitas sprites.

Ya que tengas todos los pcx de Krypto crea en Photo Paint un nuevo documento de unos 100 x 100, en formato rgb, con color de fondo en magenta (255, 0, 255).

Ahora lo que tienes que hacer es abrir todos los sprites que tienes de Puupy, uno por uno irles dando "copiar" (Ctrl + C) pasarte al nuevo documento que creaste y pegarlos (Ctrl + V). No tienes que hacer todo en un solo dia, cuando quieras salvar salvalo como cpt.

Avisame cuando tengas esto y te digo que sigue.

Bueno este si es un interesante personaje... Me gusto como se vio en Superman-Batman Apoclaypse, sugiero que procures darle ese estilo de "perro real".

Me atrajo mucho la idea de hacer todo el proceso con Photo Paint pues actualmente lo estaba haciendo sprite por sprite con paint ...

Pero mi problema es justamente el programa, no logro encontrar un link de descarga operativo de Photo Paint ....

saben de donde podria descargarlo? o algun otro programa que me sirva para el mismo proposito???

Es una edición que yo hice con paint hace tiempo. Estaba traumadisimo con que se hiciera un The Shade para mugen que hice mi propia edición, pero jamas me dedique a eso.

(mainly because of the size of poppy, it was too small)

I still have to work a lot more on the sprites, for make it more detailed, but it will look something like this ...

Hi guys ... this is the spritework so far ... I still need to fix the tails, ears add the cape and collar to all sprites .... and fix a lot of details ..... Any sugestion is welcome!!!

I also have some images of this Krypto (not a sprite), but a comic image ...

I like more this kind of Krypto .. BUT how can i convert this image into sprites compatible with mugen 1.0??? ....

(with the other images i would like to start a new base, but completly created by me)

Hey nice idea .... I love dogs and pets in comics (but not the ridiculous ones) ..... Krypto its my favorite but this "Wolf" will be in my "to do" list (and the sprites of Nakoruru's wolf seems to fit perfect for him) ... THANKS!!!
