With the SNES you would flip the on/off switch up and down and do it so fast that when the game did come up you turned it off by mistake and have to start all over.

Yeah I did that with SNES and N64.

Oh god, I remember I had to do that to soooo many NES games. It was a pain to get them to work.......*sniff sniff*  I really miss those days

Haha...I still do it when I boot the NES every couple months or so...I used to hate it, but now it's almost like it's ceremonious now. VINTAGE!
