Same with you, I joined back in 2nd Rebirth under the username "Dude" :D

I posted a little back then (Mainly in the Request Section)

Then I join 3rd rebirth as Ermacwon, I still did the same, request.

Then I joined the 4th? rebirth where the forum had the symbiote theme. This was when I began to post out of the Request Section.

After that, I rarely requested, and came to post in GD, and comment on other peoples W.I.P's, Releases, etc.

Then I began a W.I.P! MvC2 Ryu. (Never finished him =O) However I still wanted to contribute so I began to make stage edits.

Afterwards I started Paper Mario with N64 sprites.

I actually am pretty surprised I started out in the request section, worked my way up, releasing stages, worked on my wip, became a contributor, then released my Paper Mario.

(3 months later)

Then I became a mod!

I was looking for a good site with chars and stages. After a while I started making palettes and posting more.

92% of people have moved onto rap. If your part of the 8% who still listen to REAL music, post this in your signature.

I saw a link to characters on someones forum which led to Infinity(3rd Rebirth). I requested but not that much though. Usually lifebars and screenpacks. I always looked in the lost and found section for characters. Then I unleashed my ego here.  ;D

2 reasons

1. some1 was doing the pallettes it was a person with a girl char as the avi and she gave me some tips and help when i didn't know squat about mugen it was when the bg was red with gray bg so i liked this site ever since so i stuck with it

2. since the 2 new sites/ so called new forum i liked it cause their's not as much posting so not that much confusion as infantry. which i don't go to anymore cause they slander other sites and act all high and mighty

I first came here,to be honest, as a newbie leecher here...i went straight to the request forum(checked requesting rules first #:-S),and i asked for 3 chars by XCB(which weren`t listed in the then-unrequestable list)
Then i got a confirmation of the unrequestable status here also
After that i started to lure arround the other sections to see what it was being cooked here...saw the wip proyect and i decided to stay here!
Now i`m back here, after the forum went down, and now i`m even more involved that before(I was barely initiate with +100 posts, now check at my post count for the difference <_<|...|)

Man, I just wanted some damn characters for my Mugen.  :w00t: But, after awhile I found myself helping others, and I NEVER really posted in the General Discussion...'til now. Just a pretty  8-} community.

I first joined in the summer of 2006. I had just discoveed Mugen, and was trying to learn everything I could about it. I was acutally even working on y first character at the time (White Queen from the X-Men arcade, truthfully Ihad already done some animations for WereGarurumon too...) Infinity was the second forum I had stumbled on (the only other Mugen forum I had heard of at the time was the Mugen Guild, but I didn't join it...). So, long story short, I joined the forum to kind of promote my WIP ( :-[) and discuss my interest in the engine with other people who were excited about it.

2 reasons

1) Info on new releases
2) To join a forum.

I was not going to have getting characters be the only reason to join a forum, so I also went around and posted, trying to get a feel of how this place worked.

I also joined Infantry at the same time as Infinity, so I could technically say that I'm from both Infantry and Infinity. I just like this place more.
Punctuation and capitalization can make the difference between "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse," and, "I helped my uncle jack off a horse."

92% of people have moved onto rap. If you're part of the 8% who thinks rap isn't music, sucks to be you.

Most newer stuff sucks, though.
