Supposedly, Nintendo's next console is to be revealed at E3 2011 and is said to be more powerful than both the Xbox 360, and PS3. Heres an article on some rumors:

My question to you guys is, what would you like to see on Nintendo's next console? Heres a few things I'd like to see.

-A better online experience. Voice chat, parties, better connections etc.
-Mic for online play. A mic built straight into the controller would be nice and very convenient.
-3DS Support
-Still no DVD or BluRay player. All it does is jack up the price, and I don't want to have to pay extra money just so I can have another movie player in my house.

What do you guys want to see?

I don't need a movie disk player becuase streaming is where it's at.

I want:
1) Backwards compatability (all my Wii 1 games and DLC work on Wii 2)
2) Better graphics for new games
3) Harddrive to store games on, that will actually let you play straight from the hard drive.

Well i would like a video player like blu ray or something, cuz i dont have a blu ray player.
I hope it has free online play, also it would be cool if you could plug any of their portable games from the first gameboy to the 3ds into the controller and play it on tv.

And yeah, a hard drive like the 360.

How about a gimmick that actually works?  The Wii's motion controller at one point was criticized for not working as well as it could, especially so against newer attempts at it.  And don't overuse the gimmick, either.

gimmie wrestlemania from 64 as backward capable and with updated graphics, hard drive , blueray ( cheap not all out expensive in pricing) and full on free nintendo store and its a wrap!

I would like to see them step up the graphics a lot and hopefully come close to comparing to the 360 and PS3 market. That would actually.. be nice than these kid-like graphics we got with the Wii.

 Well hopefully thats what they mean when they say more powerful than the Xbox 360 and PS3. What I'm actually afraid of, is another Dreamcast scenario.

some better games and ACTUALLY LISTENING TO THE CONSUMERS!!! most of the stuff some of us already made , but i'll just say mines in a sweet way that only i can do it......... GET WITH F$%^in' TIMES NNINTENDO. it took us close to two decades for you fools to use cds. i wonder what changed your minds?? cough , cough sony !!! yeah i know nintendo were the guys and gals of inovation, but unless they pull the danger room from xmen out of their tuccus , they are REALLY gonna need something that's gonna knock our socks off! and please don't spread the killer apps so far and in between nor don't make the mistake of sony (YEAH I SAID IT) making us dive in a sea of crappy games or games that look and play great on another system (see xbox 360)  let's see what they will do.......

Gee for not being innovators anymore the Wii sure did outsell the competition, and managed to stay number 1 in Japan the majority of time where technology is king.

Seemed to me X-Box borrowed some ideas from the Wii too.

The X-box may have some graphics, but they sure know how to retread crappy 1st person shooter enjines over, and over.

I guess it all depend if you consider innovation making superior graphics that will make games that will be in the 99 cent bin in 3 years, or creating games that stand the test of time, that people contunue to Rom, over and over.

I find it hard to believe it's budget games top the ps2 in all time. I am sure 360's games will be right up there as one clone gets traded in for the next.

The Wii's major flaw is it's sheer number of shovelware games.  Said games can be found at the end caps of your local superstore, like Target or Wal*Mart, but not in the gaming section.  Their price ranges from 15 to 20 dollars, which is the budget Zone<3  However, not all budget games are shovelware games.  Some are based on currently irrelevant franchises, such as Scooby Doo and Shrek.

uhhhh what? you do know the wii isnt designed for the hardcore gamer man. . its a fam friendly console. so i never even expected hard knox games to even be on it. but no matter what, the thing sells huge! Nintend o corners is valued market. its Fans. as long as they buy the sucker and the games no matter how uhhhg hardcore peeps dont like it. its about $$, thats what matters.  and what target and walmart you go to?? i go to he electronics department and there are a whole case section for each system and games. and those jokers are NOT 15 and 20 bucks. the only ones are the ones that are older games . not none of the new stuff. its the same deal with ps3 and 360. they both have 20 buck games there for the platinum buy stuff. i copped a couple games from walmart. a cheapy and a reg price one. so that statement sure aint true unless you go to walmart in a hidden village somewhwere where there is only one house and one walmart.

New RUMORED details (as technically the system itself is a rumor)

A batch of specifications was also published by the website, which says that the Stream could be powered by a "revamped version of AMD's R700 GPU," which will be more powerful than the PlayStation 3's Nvidia-based graphics assembly.

The CPU of the new Wii is set to be a custom-built triple-core IBM PowerPC chipset, pretty much the same as the one in the Xbox 360, but overclocked to deliver enhanced graphics and a smoother frame rate at a full HD resolution.

With the two components combined, the Stream is capable of producing stereoscopic 3D, but it's said that Nintendo won't market the device with such a feature.
