I wonder what sort of game it'll be. With a create your own path being confirmed then perhaps a Bioware type game. The teaser dies look interesting though

hmmmmm very very verrrrry interesting. now i hope that since you create your destiny means you can create ya own character and style him/her/it from a bevy of customizations. i also wanna find out if you can even slect which powers you gonna have like , do you get 1 or can have up to 3 different abilities? just taking a stab at what it could be all about. Tho i am hoping its more along the lines of a good mmo or even better a fleshed out storyline for ya character.  sounds like a good prospect for me to pick up but i wanna see more from it first.
Now whats crazy is on the site peeps already dissin it cause they dont even know if they can play as mainers and doing whiny fits already . the game letting you be the hero you wanna be , they  crying " but i wanna be cyclops, i wanna be gambit, i wanna be psylockes spandex panty shorts... so  i swear.

I just hope we get some good gameplay soon. I mean we've had some pretty good comic book games as of late (Batman Arkham Asylum, Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, and maybe Origins Wolverine). Heck even SEGA's Captain America game looks great.

X-Men Legends 1 and 2 were way awesome, which paved the way for Marvel Ultimate Alliance, which I am playing now by the way. I know, I know, I'm behind the eight ball. I've been too consumed with Mugen for the past two years... 

Anyway, as long as they stay in line with X-Men Legends everything will be great. 

Hopefully they don't mess up this opportunity...

I wouldn't mind a another MUA or Legends style game but can they at least try and break the trend for once. All the X-men games that come to mind are fighting or Legends style. (not counting Wolverine game) But then again their was the X-Men Official game which well........was okay. But like Hypersonic92 said they really need to make a X-Men game along those lines.

Well some of the old school games were pretty good. The Genesis games (except Adamantium Rage & Spidey+X-Men) were good but flawed. Mutant Apocalypse for SNES was good too.

I think it would be cool if for once they tried a GTA style X-Men where you could free roam around Xavier grounds and NYC and use all characters powers individually, like Storm should be able to fly around and do all her stuff, Wolverine should be able to climb skyscrapers with his claws, and since Spidey is now an X-Man, why not include him? As much as I want that style game, this new game could always be worse.

Well i see it like this: i enjoyed MAU 1 and 2, x-men legends was really cool too. Now we have tthis game which i think will kinda seperate itself from the others quite . Its about you being a new young mutant at the academy and it seems ya teachers are probably one of the x men.  You will probably have to complete all sorts of missions and goals so you can up ya powers ( probably by what you choose at creation of your character) through a select type tier, you start off with the weakest version of it and as the game goes along and through i guess missions, trials, completed mini games or whatever you gain experience and your powers are either boosted by natural selection of the software or you upgrade by points system.
most mutants either have various powers orthey have one specific ability and can do a multitude of things with it, so i figure based on how you perform in things givin will be the deciding factor on how ya powers are upgraded. Plus  how you handle things will decide what side are you going to be on, hero or bad guy ( if thats emplemented ). It would remind me of Fable series if went that route for sure in the end build.

I for one was hoping for like a marvel universe type mmorpg. game never ends. you just pick a side and do whatever and the game has all kinds of things happeneing at random and you decide your fate on wether to save and help or destroy and conquer type thing.  
well i will definetly look into getting this game.
