 >:-(-| I still think this is fake.

Saying "When 2d is back in fashion" is like saying "When The Burger King starts scaring the poop out of you".
It's still going on/in fashion.

2D is still pretty well known and liked for the most part, and I still think it's "in fashion."

They are just annoying me now.

yeah, this just proves it was a hoax... too bad many people stopped projects because of that F.A.Q. (like Infcat for ex.)

With the uprising of Xbox360, ps3, and wii, Elecbyte is full of nothing but false hopes.
Elecbyte wants to play brand new 2d games, I believe there are only 2d games mostly for GBA and NDS, every other system has 99% 3D games.

I agree, the GBA is a great 2-D medium in a time where the emphais is heavily on 3-D which is becoming more and more foucsed on realism.

However that "when 2-D is back in fashion" seems like an overly sarcastic comment to me.

Well they haven't updated in a while.  They said a month ago they would have some kind of news in two weeks.

So based on that you assumed and reported as fact that the project was cancelled due to the supposed return of elecbyte?
The creator is away visiting family.  Work will resume when he returns.

Q: But... I LIKE my old characters!

A: There will be no official support for characters designed for previous M.U.G.E.N. betas. Please consider one of the many M.U.G.E.N. clones.

Meaning that anybody can come up with a patch to allow the use of previous Mugen creations.

Anyways, I dont know why people get all worked up about it.

Lets wait till something OFFICIALLY happens.

I'm going to just assume this is all a big hoax until I see some build of some sort. Until then, I don't see any reason to be worked up about things.

Either way, "back in style". What a foolish comment, whether this Elecbyte is the real deal or not. 2D never went out of style. Just because the actual game developers go with 3D because of the consoles power doesn't make 2D any less popular.

When I go to Dave & Busters, or any other arcade bars, I grab a frosty brew and head over to the World Heroes, and Street Fighter II machines to blow credits. The Wife, and Ill will beat each other azz on MK till we cant see straight. 2D is eternal, its what I grew up with, and what I still love.

=D> =D> ;D

3D would not have existed if it wasn't for 2D, and 2D was the core and primary successes of fighting games we came to play, know, and love to this day.

Doesn't matter if Electbyte makes a 3D Mugen.
I'll still using my winmugen and creating chars for it.!  8-}
