last night while I was drinking I lost to a guy that spent the whole match spamming juggernaut and doom assists and jumping up and throwing web balls. I feel so ashamed.

no need to be ashamed, thats what most mvc players are known for.
MvC2 on live gonna turn into the new godweapon server so expect the same gayness as before.

I seem to only play while I'm drinking heavily. I lost today to a guy who picked iron man, doom, and warmachine, and kept spamming assists while doing iron man's crouching sp.

dont feel bad. i kept loosing to some noob who decided to be gay and use sentinel punch and his laser move. but i got him back with Team Diva the next 2 rounds.

I'm surprised he didn't get you in the infinite, that's clearly what that team is made for. I've seen a lot of scrubs who do nothin' but Iron-Man/War Machine's infinite. Doom assist -> Infinite. So cheap.

so ive been trying to o magneto's hyper grav with the air combo with no luck at all. anyone have any suggestions?

Well, it has to be done really quick. Just do a basic air combo but instead of ending ot with FP or FK do the hcb+k and as soon as that's unleased do tempest.

Also, make sure your doin' the Hyper Grav with F.K and not L.K.

that was the funny part. I doubt the person even knew how to do that. I wasn't even capable of holding the controller up at that point anyway.

thats why i hated the vs series because even during just normal matches ppl went cheap on me. i mean that was before i knew how to play too. i like to play straight up though.....its much more satisfying when u use skill to win not infinite cheapness.

I feel the same way but unfortunately, No one believes in skill in this game, its all about getting the most hits, spam assists, and infinite's...........

Infinites are what make this game, do you know how hard it is to pull of some of those infinites, it requires a lot of practice, and most of the time, you'll end up messing up and letting your opponent free. Only thing I don't have respect for in this game, are those scrubs who don't know anythin' but a simple assist into infinite. Like Iron-Man and War Machine for example. Doom anti air rocks push your opponent up and all you have to do after that is jump diagonally and L.P., delayed M.P., L.K., H.P. up. Not only that, but when you kill someone, as the other char is coming in, IM/WM have an unblockable that sets up the infinite all over again, so you pretty much have no chance, you gotta take IM and WM out fast. If you're good enough though, infinites can be avoided, they start getting watered down after a point, and after 50 hits, you send them in a spinning animation which sets them free. Real players know how to get in your mind and cross you up, infinites are hardly even used, it's more like one big combo.

I played against a guy using iron man yesterday while I had captain commando onscreen. we both had five meters, and he did a proton cannon. I blocked the entire thing and of course retaliated with a commando storm. after that I jumped back and taunted. he then did another proton cannon, which I also blocked and punished.

This happened five times in a row, then he rage quit. I LOLed.
