"Resident Evil: Biohazard" Mugen Project
« on: June 07, 2009, 06:53:56 AM »
Hi to all. At first, i hope you'll have a nice day ;)

I'm a member of old BH mugen project (with pizzaman and the others), and i'd like to know if there are someone who would help this project (an awesome one, i say). For fans that have waited until now any news on a new beta of the game, new chars and other stuffs..

I'd like to say I have new chars and stages finished (ready to insert in new beta), but i don't. I have a lot of wips, suspended. Wips that i would continue, in my (rare) free time.

If you want to know what stuff i'm working on lately, you could go here, but this is ONLY a part of total :D

I hope you'll help, this project MUST be continued! ;)

Nice day ;) and glad to see you opened the new topic AB :) but like you say the series is more well known as Resident Evil in some places so might be a good idea to change the title to that you will probably get more help and much more noticed especially by fans if you do :)

Oh and just wanted to ask what is the main thing you need AB  a coder, a spriter or both?
just wanted to ask so that I can mention it to other members to see if they are interested in helping you with this  ::salute::

beh, i need of spriters and coders, as well. I'm a spriter, but i'm full of wips and my free time is...cough cough... "thin" :P

I appreciate any help. It would helps to have in the staff new spriters and coders, as well as new wips (Ada Wong, 4 example)

Come on, people!

Why name the project Resident Evil: Biohazard? That's like having a character named Megaman Rockman.
Punctuation and capitalization can make the difference between "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse," and, "I helped my uncle jack off a horse."

92% of people have moved onto rap. If you're part of the 8% who thinks rap isn't music, sucks to be you.

Most newer stuff sucks, though.

it is the original name of this project (named by pizzaman, the proj's godfather). If this project resurrect, maybe it will pass in a new level, and there we could name it in another way...
However i would ask pizzaman opinion, first :P

Hi AB  :)

Just wondering how are things going with getting people to help you with this because I have passed on the word on other sites that I go on for you ::salute:: and asked some other members on this site to see if they will help you out so just wondered if any of them had been in contact with you yet :)

Damn I Wish I had the skills of a mugen creator I would jump at the chance to work on this with you AB I love the Resi series but sadly its something I lack I am just out of my league :( I have spread the word on quite a few other mugen websites that I go on though so maybe someone will turn up out of the blue yet :)  but about pizzaman please tell him to try not to let people like that guy who made him angry and delete some of his works including Leon and Claire get to him it just isnt fair on the more decent people who really appreciated his work to have there dream ruined by one person as sadly there will probably always be people like that unfortunately *Iceman ThumbsDown!* maybe the best thing for him to do is to just try to ignore those sort and just respond to everybody else who like and appreciate his work

I for one would love to see the pizzaman come back to the project again  ::salute::

I am surprised that there hasnt been that much of a response to help you though AB I mean Resi is a no1 selling game with thousands of fans surely someone here can help you with this

come on people  where have all the Resi fans gone? ???

Ada here's free to use, but I have absolutely no time to work on her. Get in touch with Angelic Charon - he had KILLER ideas Biohazard-wise.

Good luck, guys.

Hi all! It's passed a full month from my last reply. I'm in process to work (a more remunerative job, eheheh ;*))) and I've some time "free" (more or less).
My new ideas?
Beh, I would like to re-organize my wips and create a primary one. worksa8's idea isn't bad (Leon) :P

Maybe a little peek in RE4\5 archives could do the miracle :D

Anyway, your suggestions are welcomed :D

Mah, the main cast\roster is 3rd beta's one of course, although i'm thinking to re-organize them too (i'm splitted: from a part i would like mantain old roster and add some new "guest stars", from another one i would cut\change some characters (playable ones) with new ones :-??)

For now it's better re-organize my wips, then we'll see what we'll do.... :-"

I'd like to make a graphic contest for eventually new B.O.W.s x this proj... I'd like to SEE new monsters :D

I'm a member of old BH mugen project (with pizzaman and the others), and i'd like to know if there are someone who would help this project (an awesome one, i say). For fans that have waited until now any news on a new beta of the game, new chars and other stuffs..

I hope you'll help, this project MUST be continued! ;)

Well, for my CvR project, one of the Capcom characters I'll be working on will be Leon S. Kennedy.

I don't know when I'll get started or when I will finish (It mainly depends on which Capcom character everyone thinks I should do after Rash), but when I do finish Leon, I'll give you permission to use his CvR sprite sheet. Then again, it was gonna be open source, so you wouldn't need my permission as soon as it's released. The only thing you would need to do is give me credit.
This is for those who thought I wasn't gonna do anything.

Dear worksa, Hunk was (and is) my primary wip, but I'm glad to having you help. Soon I'll take all frames made and we could split work (= edit more fast and less stressing hihihi :D)

Until i've suspended, of Hunk i've made basics and some attacks, and I'd started to add some details (as his belt accessories,  ;*)))

If you want, pass me (in pm) your msn id

Hi all. I have got days ago a mourning in family :(
Therefore for a little time I won't edit nothing.

However I hope I'll have new time for a mrX or a Hunk, and (maybe) a new original char (Hero or B.O.W)

To the next time

PS:
If you want, you can post on this topic edits for a simil-graphic contest, to help me in choose the new char.. I have some ideas but i'd like to see yours

soon, i'll post various RE edits (old and new), for you ;)

@galactus: me too, for a complete CAPCOM style Nemesis, but he's very difficult to edit :P

I hope you'll help, this project MUST be continued! ;)

Just wanted to give props and im surprised that Pizzaman is still around. i remember downloading his Evil Dead Ash years ago.
So im sure you guys got a squad together to pull it off. Good luck with the project
Lots and lots of supers so f*ckin what

HAIL CROM!!

I don't know if anyone here was ever into BOR (Beats of Rage) mods, but there were a few games that peaked my interest, especially Crisis Evil 1 and 2:

http://www.compmike19.com/id394.htm

Leon was sprited from CvS Kyo and Claire was sprited from CvS Maki. Maybe you could get permission to use the Claire sprites, since she seems to be the only char missing in the project. I ripped them a long time ago, but BOR doesnt require as many sprites as MUGEN, so theres no ducking sprites to be found at all amongst other dealing with fall down and theres not many specials to be found. Thought I would let you guys know about it none the less  :)

hi all. today i've a free day from work (but I've to go to a near city for a relative (:| )

@Zero: that is a sad story. When the original creator of RE mugen project, The Pizzaman, released his version of game, he told me of a persistent guy, Harlem-something who had the claim to use frames without permission (because mugen is a free game for all, or something similar). I don't remember exact development, but after this, HHero relased his bor mod "crisis evil". Pizzaman raged but HHero doesn't understood his rage. Then HHero released a new version, "C.E.2", with new chars and stuff..
Zombies, B.O.W.s (spider, dogs) redfield and wesker are pizzaman's work, used without permission ^^'
Pizzaman then sended all CE crew at hell (with words) and started with me the new version of game..
The only half-good frames they've made are Leon and the hunter. Nemesis is good only for capcom style, but the frames should be remade, too shabby :| (here the 2nd chapter of saga)

Pizzaman told me to leave this matter to fools as HHero.. only fools take other's work without permission, and that's all. The matter was past's matter, without importance..

(the hunter was a gooood piece of work...what a waste using for a bor mod :()

Beh, we'll see soon guys ;)

Have a nice day
