Horror movies recommendations

I never been a big slasher movie fan so I'd personally don't find them scary. So that's why there not on my top five.
1.Rose Red by Stephen King
2.The Others
3.The Ring
4.IT by Stephen King
5.The Blair Witch Project(Before I knew it was fake)
Oh and If you haven't seen a horror movie alone and in the dark...

Thrillers are good movies to but don't scare just anticipate.

btw was stephen king's IT a tv series? i kept hearing that 

I don't know if it was a tv series...I don't remember one. By the vay I googled it and found nothing on a tv series.

Anyway check out Rose Red it's a two DVD set so be sure you got a lot of time on your hands. I saw it with my brother and he liked it too.

Stephen king rules. and dude if it's that long i' sure it will be great.
the problem is i don't know if i'm going to get it anytime soon cus i'm downloading a crap load of stuff but i'll try to watch it soon.
