Here is my latest work.  Did all the blocks and falling, and dead on the ground.  All knock backs too.
Still more to show, I need to start showing cool moves one of these days.
Metalman is starting to feel like a real character now :)

Why does he have a little dragon with him?

That's his little dragon buddy...  lol.
It follows like rush follows Megaman.  It gets pissed when you get hit too.  It will be used in a super when I get around to finishing it.
Something I came with since Metalman was really only in 1 game and throws blades not much to go off of, so I decided to give him a dragon.
The dragon was originally used in Megaman 2 so I thought it would fit nice.  (The little one I got was from power battles.)

Cool, wouldn't be Metalman without being able to throw metal blades from both ducking and jumping. :)

Great!
He could use slashing effects(like Heidern and other charactes that use sharp blades or swords) in all of his moves!

Glad everyone likes what they see so far.  :)
If anyone has a idea for a super port or wants to give it a try making one let me know.  I haven't had too much luck making one that looks good.

Great!
He could use slashing effects(like Heidern and other charactes that use sharp blades or swords) in all of his moves!

Metalman's basic moves don't have slashing effects, they are punches and kicks, although there is one move I want to make eventually that will need a slashing effect.   ;D  I am trying to stay in a MM2 style for the most part.  The only new type move I would like to add thats not MM2 style would be a charge up punch like the Metalman in EXE has...  Otherwise I am trying to keep to throwing blades in different ways with his moves...
I'll show some more cool stuff sooner or later, right now I'm spriting and my new stuff won't be added for a while.  I have a bunch done that I haven't even seen in game yet.  :P  Hopefully next I will work on the  charge punch and then the ducking hard kick, I don't want a slide kick like Megaman has.  Then maybe go back and re-do some of the run frames as that was some of my original work and I can do it better.
Later :)

Oh yea... Metalman looks funny as hell dancing with Michael Jackson lol

What if instead of a big hyper portrate you do one that kinda looks like the intro to Metal Man's stage, using the image of metal man from here

Yea at the moment thats the pic you see on the character select screen when you choose Metalman.

I was trying to change this pic for a super port but it's not quite right to use anyways

Then there's this crappy pic

I would love to somehow change this pic, the pose would be perfect for a super port, not a easy task though, I tried :P

It was just a thought, i searched arround and i could only find one peice of art that was only metal man, it was a fan art done in crayon and not that great of quality.  Still if you can do someting different that would be great.

I think I may end up doing what Excursion did if I can't come up with a super port I like.
I like how he did it.  :)
