Stage Music Skipping

Im using Mugen+ & I recently added the music from DL'd stages to the sound folder in mugen. The stages that skip vary from Dresmasher, Teros & EX Shadow. It sounds like the muisc is loaded b/c it'll play for a few seconds but continues to skip. So, Im not quite sure if its the mp3's, mugen or what

any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanx that vid did fix my problem. But is it normal for the music to stop when mugen isnt the top window? And when I pause the music keeps going

This is a simple fix actually and it ALWAYS works with my Mp3 format and midi files just follow these steps and let me know how it works for you -k-.

Before you open up Mugen at all, ALWAYS!

1) open start menu
2) go to control panel
3) sound, speech, audio devices
4) sounds and audio devices
5) speaker settings advanced
6)click the preformance tab
7)put the hardware acceleration all the way to none.

This tells the computer to slow down a bit when reading multiple sounds and it will not try to make one sound better than the other, making every sound flawless in MUGEN

Thanx Marius but that was already fixed. Im trying to see if I can fix the next problem now.

It does work to a certain point. I've had the same problem for a while. It will still freeze sometimes and quit on me but it is much better than it use to be. Thanks for the quick steps.
