Title: Windows 8.1 and Mugen

so apparently i have to get a new computer due to the video chip on my motherboard on my 4 yr old laptop went out.

does anyone know other people running mugen on windows 8.1 and/or known any having any trouble with it all?

That's a good question. I've been contemplating whether to get a new PC myself. I really want to try Windows 8. But I don't want to get one if it won't accommodate all the stuff I want to use it for. My current laptop has had a bad battery for a long time and thought of maybe just replacing the battery and wait till this laptop can't be used no more.

i don't see why it wouldn't, it's still mostly the same base operating system, if it has issues you can always just run it in compatibility mode

i'd test it, but i'm on windows 8 and i don't like the service pack so i'm not installing it
