Amy and Kunckles would end up as assist trophies if anything.
Personally, I'd like to see either Knuckles or Metal Sonic fight alongside Sonic. :thumbsup:

-Dr. Eggman/Robotnik will appear as an assist trophy or a boss in adventure mode.
-Shadow will semi-cameo as an outfit for Sonic.
(Also remember there's a difference between an outfit cameo like Daisy and fully fleshed out clone character like Falco. Nintendo said it wants to avoid clones not outfits.)
-There's a 50/50 coin toss chance Knuckles or Tails will appear. One side of the coin says Nintendo doesn't want to go overboard with 3rd party characters (so no). The other side of the coin says Sonic will need a "Luigi" for the game, plus the fact that there are other Mario vs Sonic games by Nintendo in the works (so yes).
-I don't think any other Sonic character has a chance in hell to appear in Brawl.
