Thanks man, I got plenty coming in the future and this area could use it....this section seems kind of dead. Probably dropped in usage and popularity when I and Team Demon left. The place was booming back then, but maybe once I open up requests things will get more busy. It's no big deal as I have Sinhra and DeviantArt to share my work at so I get some good hits from there. Just sucks to have all this great work all tightly tucked away in this section where it goes mostly unnoticed, but my sprites go somewhat unnoticed too it seems. Maybe just need more time, after all I only just returned so I'm not well established yet.

It's all cool now, just keep what I said in mind is all. I really do need to get some thread rules up, but those will come with request rules whenever that happens.
Thanks, glad you enjoy my work. Stuff under the Artwork category is my actual art, some of it is just colored work of others lineart whom I give full credit to in the piece. But the stuff that is my work is actually drawn and inked by hand and then scanned into my computer and then I do all my Photoshop wizardry to it like painting, effects/graphics and whatnot.

Important Update!
I'll go ahead and start with that my DeviantArt page has been updated, new journal and gallery skin and other adjustments made. Great place now to find out more about me and keep up to date on things. I have also made a new journal entry if anyone cares to read it. People may see I have voiced my concerns about Infinity, in no way did I bad mouth the site or call anyone names. I just simply said my concerns and left it as that.
On that subject, for now I will be keeping my distance from this community. I think it's best for everyone this way. I will continue to post my work and or updates in my threads here however. But I prefer to keep my interaction with the community to a minimum. Basically I'll just be sticking to business and only posting or replying in my two threads here at Infinity.
If for any reason I decide to leave and drop support for this site, I will just lock and leave my threads here as a bridge to me over at Sinhra and at DeviantArt. You all may still continue to browse my threads here and use any of the stuff that I have permitted for use as long as I am credited of course. The templates will remain to be completely free to use to make your own avatars, sigs and userbars. You may edit the templates if you wish as well, just remember to give credit.
I just need to keep myself focused on Sinhra and DeviantArt and simplify things and restrict my interaction with people in general.
On a happier subject, Sinhra has gotten a redesign by our great and talented !E. It's new feel with new rules and a fresh outlook for the place. It's where I will be stationed as far as forums are concerned. I also may have a possible future major project going on there, of which people here may be very interested in. Anyway, come join if you all wish as it could always use more active members contributing and or just hanging out in general. Plus we already have a Mugen project going on as many already know about called "Capcom Fighting All-Stars".
Long story short, I'm sticking to business and there will still be plenty of future works from me to enjoy. There will always be a place to see what is new from me. Bookmark the links below just in case of anything and to see what's new ;)

I hope people read my last post as it was very important, but I figure no one cares since who really comes to this section anyway. Which is another issue altogether, the Mugen Graphics area, especially this child board needs some serious looking into to get it to be more active. This area is mostly dead and it seems like a waste to post new work when it gets mostly ignored here. There is too much focus on Mugen and not enough on other avenues like art, graphics and even sprites.
Not sure what could be done, but some re-organizing of sorts could be good. Probably would get more attention if I opened up to requests as I seem to be the one doing remotely anything in here. Oh well, I got stuff keeping me busy anyway what with Sinhra and DeviantArt.

Man, how many of my updates are going to go ignored? Alright, let me pose a question to you people here at Infinity. Do you still wish to see me post my work here? Do any of you take any interest at all in my work? I just need to know whether or not I'm wasting my time posting here, I don't need an additional site to keep track of if it's not going to be of any use.
I would love to continue to post my work, but only if things remain positive and Infinity continues to show interest in my work. I work hard and go through all the trouble to share with you all my various art, but if it's not appreciated here then I would prefer to know upfront about it. I don't know, maybe it's just this area of the forum that is the problem. If my work was somewhere more readily in your face and available then it would probably get seen more.
I just hate to see nothing but my posts of updates with no response. Would opening up to requests get all of your attention? Is that all you want? I need to know what I can do to get things moving here. It's just having Sinhra, DeviantArt and IMT can be a bit much for me so I prefer to only support and share my work where it's worth my time. Like I said in my last post, too much focus on Mugen could be the issue. There are other avenues that are worth enjoying. Infinity should work to be more than just a Mugen site, too much of one thing can be bad....it's time to broaden your perspective and see other talent we have here.
Anyway, enough of that rant...it will fall on deaf ears anyway *sigh*

Considering I never played X8, only up to and including X7 maybe that's why I feel that way. X7 left too much of a bad taste in my mouth so I gave up on the series. I'm more into the 2D games and that is where my frame of mind comes from, I prefer X1-3.

Axl was just thrown into the game as a X pallets or sorts with more mobility. X7 is the worst in the series. X8 redeemed its self. the game is good as a whole. and all the characters are unique. You should check it out. it was a nice finish to the series.

Alrighty folks, got something special here. To start off I am back to doing Fightstick Skins. These are brand new and a fresh start with these again. All of these are for the Madcatz Tournament Edition S/Full. I'm not certain if these are the exact size they need to be. I had to do my own calculations and get close enough. I keep the PSD's of these so I can make personal changes for people if they need them. I can always upload versions without any cutting done to them. These were made mostly as display pieces, but if they end up usable then that's a added bonus.
And with that I have added a new category under wallpapers for these new Fightstick skins. I chose the Madcatz TE S because it allowed for the most space to work in. Like I said I can upload uncut version so people can cut and fit them to whatever stick they have. Anyway, enjoy them! :Wink

Glad you like them, Bishamon is my favorite too since he never gets much attention so I wanted to do a more obscure character and from Darkstalkers at that.

Added Cammy and Cody fightstick skins. These will probably be the last of these type I do, as I want to try something else with these since I can't make proper printable ones.
While I'm at it, it's time to announce that I am now officially open to requests. This will be a test run to see how things go, if it gets out of hand or I feel it becomes a burden then I will close shop. I have made rules which have been added to the first post and can be seen below. Please take the time to read them and make sure to keep them in mind when making requests. Don't let me stop you from trying if you want to, as you can print these just that they won't turn out properly like they they should. I don't know, if people want to give it shot then it's cool. Yes, you read right I am now officially retiring from requests for good. Yeah, I only just opened up to them again, but it was a trial run. Short lived, but now I realize I just can't do this sort of thing anymore. I don't have the time or patience or willingness to do them. I have so much of my own personal work to do and little pet projects that I just can't deal with people asking me to do things for them. So please I must ask that no one bother me for any sort of request either here, by PM or anywhere else.
I do apologize for this, but it is what it is. Please respect my wishes on this. You can however still view my work and I will continue to share new stuff here for the time being. Though there is the possibility of me fully retiring from Infinity. Coming back here after all this time has shown me that I have outgrown this place and my work just seems better suited for DeviantArt and Sinhra now. Heck I may even retire from Sinhra, I guess what I'm trying to say is I just want to retire from the Mugen Community as a whole as I quit Mugen long ago and it has no interest for me.
I stick around and keep coming back, but now I'm seeing that I may need to truly move on. If anything you can always find me at DeviantArt so I suggest bookmarking my page there so you can keep up to date on my works.
Don't take any of this personally folks, I don't expect everyone to understand and that's fine, I just ask that my wishes be respected. Also know that regardless of where I am I will continue to produce art in some form. Art is my passion, I live it, breath it and hold it dear to my heart. I will strive to improve so that I may provide better and better quality work for people to enjoy.
In happier news, here is what I have been working on, my idea with arcade fightstick skins needed a change. So I came up with this, basically what I call "Arcade Panel Wallpapers". HD wallpapers with a arcade joystick panel/interface style to them. I plan to mess with different layouts and styles so it's still kind of experimental.
This first one is themed on Morrigan/Darkstalkers.

Things are not the same as they were, I'm older and I no longer have Team Demon to do stuff with here at Infinity. I kind of came back here as a test to see if still want to be here and if things would work well. Quite frankly, this section is dead and for the most part the stuff I do goes ignored. This is a Mugen forum, not a art/graphics site and as such it doesn't suit my needs anymore.
Things have just changed, I mean if you love Mugen then this is one of the places to be for sure, but for an artist like myself....it just sort of doesn't provide what I need. Posting my work here feels like posting about Ponies at a political campaign site...it makes no sense and doesn't exactly help me. Ok that was kind of an exaggerated analogy, but you get my point.
I've been floating around for too long and I need to find my place and focus. For now, I'll still just do what I do and more than likely just sort of fade out. It's not like you can't go over to DeviantArt and see what I'm up to.

Well, well. It's a been quite a long time since I saw you. I think the same could be said of you, I mean I thought you left Infinity for good a long time ago. Didn't really think I'd ever see the likes of you again.
I am alive, I just disappeared from here and was elsewhere for quite some time. I've been over at Sinhra as my forum of choice and using DeviantArt as my main art outlet. To be honest I have no idea why I came back here, I won't be around much longer actually. I'm on hiatus for now and plan on a full retirement from the Mugen community and from all requests. I need to get out and do so for good. I always had a issue with leaving it all behind, but I don't see anything holding me around any longer.
Anyway, thanks and remember to just go to DeviantArt if you want to see my works. It's a nice place for me since I can share my work and organize it the way I want without having to deal with forum community crap.

Dude, we consider you an unofficial member of our team. Have for quite awhile. You helped us improve our skills a lot over the years when we collaborated together. Well me, and Shinra left IMT due to some issues in the past. But I won't drudge up old history because to be honest it's in the past and that's where it's gonna stay. I harbor no ill feelings towards the people here.
So since we left here, we've been using my forum to keep in contact(sorry OUR forum). Hell we've got a good 3 dedicated deviant threads on our forum that's like 300+ pages long. Which is why we keep having to make threads lol.
But I do agree that the graphics section here hasn't been the same since we left. It's definitely a shadow of it's former self. Likewise I hear ya on the "no competition makes things boring." Here lately all of us have been having a lot of various personal stuff/issues going on in our lives so while we keep in contact daily on our forum, we haven't been doing a lot of GFX work. Heck besides resizing wallpapers I've found on various websites, I haven't made an avatar/sig in about a year. Between college and severe medical issues that have developed over the last year and a half, GFX art is just out of the picture atm. But even without us doing GFX work, we still do have fun.
So DG, you should stop by sometime. Don't care about anything that transpired in the past, hell I don't even remember any of it to begin with. So the door will always be open. Just register and you'll be given the proper permissions.

I have a crap memory as well and it keeps getting worse, but it's effected by different reasons. We all got issues one way or another, it's life and we just got to do our best and remain strong through the toughest of times.
I'll be making a "goodbye post on Monday or Tuesday and then leaving this thread open till the end of the week for folks to say goodbye or whatever. Then on Friday this will be locked and adjustments made to the first post and then I will be out of here. Same goes for my sprite thread too.

At least this time I'm leaving on better terms, I always wanted to patch things up with IMT before I ever permanently left here. It just didn't feel right to have left things as they were, plus I got my old account unbanned so now I feel like I can leave in peace without any hard feelings or regret. It's not good to keep grudges or ill feelings toward people as it just eats away at you. But I have grown beyond IMT now and my skills just don't feel suited to this place or rather the Mugen Community. It's not like I would ever be useful to the Infinity Team as I don't work with Mugen at all.
And on that note, I want to thank IMT and everyone I have met here over the years. If it wasn't for IMT, I would never be where I am now or least things would be very different in any case. The whole Team Demon vs. The Deviants was also a fun time and helped me improve so I have to thank my competitors as well. I also want to apologize once again about my past and things that I either said or did. Drama should be left in the past so I'll leave it at that.
Anyway, this thread shall remain open till Friday, so feel free to post in here till then everyone. Before I lock the thread at the end of the week I will make one last post and then lock it. I know there are people who don't believe I will leave for good since I made a habit of coming back, but this time it's a permanent deal as I have nothing to call me back or hold me here anymore. I already knew I was going to leave when I came back, it was mostly just to patch things up as I couldn't leave things the way they were from the last time I was here. I wanted to be able to finally leave in good graces and with my name not soiled.

Not much to say for my last post here as I have already said what needs to be said, but I just want to say my final goodbye everyone. I doubt many will care though and this community will just go about their business as usual. IMT was my first forum way back when and it gave me a place get my start on the net. I'm thankful for having joined all those years ago and for everyone that supported me.
A time comes for everyone that that they must follow a new path and indeed that time has come for me. I will not be returning here or to anywhere within the Mugen Community. I'm done and I need to shift my focus elsewhere. Since I will continue to be at DeviantART and it will be the one place to find me don't say I disappeared as all you have to do is go there to find me.
If by chance my Photobucket links break, staff is free to dump this thread or whatever they wish. I won't be around anymore so whatever happens to this thread is not my concern.

Yes it is I Darkgargos/DG and I have decided to come out of retirement. Why you may ask? For the heck of it I suppose. There have been changes going on for me, I have dropped sprite work and GFX for the most part to concentrate on my digital painting future over at Deviantart. But a part of me still wants to do forum graphics as a side thing. So here I am back to the fray, but with a new and simpler focus.
Previously called "Insignia Dimensions" this thread is now called "Signature Dojo". The purpose and focus of this thread will be signature arts of various types, with some bonus content here and there just for fun. Now I am a bit rusty at this so I need some practice and stretch my legs so to speak. After that I will welcome requests from folks here at Infinity. I will make a post about requests when I am ready.
I know I've been gone for a while, but please lets keep any drama out of this thread. Regardless of my past there is a part of me that will always be a member here at Infinity. Besides, who else around here does this sort of thing at the quality I do? You guys could use my contribution and it's time I put my skills back to use here. Let's just have fun and enjoy what I will share here at good ole Infinity ;)

Hey Lando, nice to see you again. Wow, you are part of IMT too? Damn, seems like everybody I used to know is a member of IMT now...times have changed. Maybe if I had stayed loyal all these years I would have had the same opportunity......well maybe not, I can't do anything Mugen related so I would never be of any use. I'm pretty content with what I'm doing now so it's all good.
But anyway, thanks and glad you still like my work. I will continue to share my GFX and depending on how well things are received here I may go back to sharing all my crazy stuff again. But for now I'm keeping it simple to see how things go.
If only I had my former Team Demon partners to get things really rolling again....oh well, that's all gone now unfortunately :( Hmmmmm, maybe I could rebuild a new Team Demon......meh, wouldn't be same without my good former teammates.

Yes, another stupid thread title change....when is the idiot that keeps doing this going to stop and make up his mind? Oh wait...that's me :P Yeah, been thinking about it and since I will be sharing more than just signatures in here thought I'd just make a slight change to the name to reflect things better. I had initially planned on just having this be a signature topic, but after some consideration I thought I should just go back to doing what I always do and just post all my crazy stuff...if I can manage to fit it all on the front page that is. Not sure if I should put back up my old stuff or just move on with new works instead. I'll figure all this out.
I also will be reopening my sprite thread and making a new thread for avatar and signature templates as well, basically I'm getting things rolling again here at Infinity. I may not have Team Demon to back me up anymore, but it's all cool I'm more a one man army anyway and well, I think my work speaks for itself to be honest. I haven't decided on my request plans, I may forgo that as I don't think I will have time for it.

Just sharing some of my more recent digital paintings. She-Venom is the newest one, though it turned out quite badly. But I thought I'd share anyway. Despite me being known for graphics and some spriting, digital painting is where I want to put my real focus. I just haven't found my style yet.

Hi everybody it's Darkgargos/DG! I'm replying in my old dusty thread to just let folks know that I have returned! Yeah yeah...I know....we have all heard this old song before, I come back and then disappear again for god knows how long :P I'm truly sorry if I upset anyone with my long hiatuses, but I have been heavily working on getting myself in order. I ended up quitting art for quite a while and left my deviantart sitting idle with no updates. I just got frustrated and lost motivation to do anything, plus I suffer from A.D.D and was distracted from other things. I have to confess that I ended up getting addicted to MMO's as well and it almost destroyed me. For the sake of my health both physically and mentally and for my art skills I needed to get myself straightened out and put focus back on things that matter.
Holy crap this thread is a mess! Broken links everywhere, but that's cause I cleaned out my Photobucket a while ago. I'm going to need to do some serious cleaning in here, but I wonder if I would be better off making a new thread instead and just lock and forget this one. Let me know what you all think about that as I still need time to work stuff out. I may keep things simple for starters and just do sigs and see where that takes me. I'm rusty, and need to relearn things, plus graphics has been something I set aside in favor of digital painting so I need to get up to speed.
I'm going to mostly be doing this for fun and may not take requests depending on how things go. I also need to put time into working on my painting skills which are more important to me, but I will still try to work on new graphics while I concentrate on my painting studies. You can also still checkout my stuff over at deviantart since I still have my account there and the bulk of my work is uploaded there.
Feels good to be home, though it's not the same as it used to be....so many people gone. I Haven't kept up with the Mugen scene so I don't know what has been happening. I guess people just moved on or Mugen isn't as popular anymore. I still got all my Mugen stuff from when I first started, haven't touched it in forever though. I think it's time to build a game for myself again..when I find the time.
Anyway, this post got too long. Again, it feels good to be home...lets hope this is the start of my resurgence here at IMT! :)

Long time no see DG, the last time we talked I asked you for tuts on GFX, was that like 3 years ago? Glad to see you around again, don't matter what you decide to work on, I'm a big fan of all of it. :w00t:
Hey, what's up Zeroz? It's been too long since I heard from you or anyone I knew here actually. I remember that and I use to do requests for you too, I noticed you are doing GFX stuff now. It's funny seeing people go from asking me to make stuff to doing it themselves and getting good at it. My tenure here seems to have inspired a few folks and that's great cause for an artist one of the most wonderful things is to inspire others. I'll make a note to post in your thread.
I already have some stuff ready, but still want to do some more work and want to decide whether to keep using this thread or start fresh with a new one.

Yeah man, Things happen, Mugen gets boring for a lot of people so they move on, myself included, so I started doing graphics since it has been a long passion of mine, I just didn't have it in me to get it going until the last time we talked. I felt it was the right time you know?

Cool, art is also my passion and is why I need to really get back into the swing of things. I can see why people get bored of Mugen or anything that you get too much of. But it feels like Mugen just got stale for me with no real innovation going on. Not sure if it's the limitations of the software or just not enough creativity going on....I mean do we really need another "Super Evil God Shin hyper Ultimate Gouki"? :P Anyway, Yeah I have no idea how active the staff is here or who among them is still around...I miss the old days of IMT...though there was a lot of drama. I got time to figure this all out so no worries ;)
Hahaha, hey there Rage! I get it, guess starting a fresh thread wouldn't be such a bad idea, I just didn't want to upset staff as they may prefer I just re-purpose this one.

Oh that's right, been too long since I've been here and wasn't paying attention...thanks for the correction Raging Princess :P Not that it would have been hard to clean up and rework my opening post, but the rest of the thread would look weird what with the broken links and old posts that don't match up. So yeah, I'm going to start a new thread as in this case a fresh start would be more fitting. I'll leave this one open till I'm ready to create the new one so that you guys can still comment ;)

what happened to sinhra.com? i noticed it was down.
I haven't been there in some time and just the other day decided to see what was up and noticed the domain expired. I assume !E didn't pay his bill on time or something on the host end went bad. Maybe he gave up on his site, I do know he has been busy with life and just might have decided he didn't have time to deal with the site. Though he's too nice of a person to just up and axe it without letting everyone know so I'm not sure.

Ok folks, I'm going to lock this up now as I'm going to get started on the new thread so that we can get things rolling. I'll start off small and work from there, but the thread will always be a work in progress. Anyway, see you guys there when it's up and ready to go ;)
