Sorry for the small downtime. I had to upgrade the forum to the latest version manually. I have another big update for the forum, but I will wait until tonight or sometime soon to do it.

Pretty cool! I've only noticed some transparency issues, and the emoticons aren't showing up but otherwise YAY FOR UPGRADING! XD
I was worried you wouldn't have been able to keep the database if you did upgrade, but I always knew you'd figure it out. ;)
It took me about a week of testing trial by fire. I downloaded the entire forum and database and installed a working copy locally on my hard drive using WAMP then upgrade it piece by piece to see what screwed up the forum database and what didn't. It was worth it as I am happy on the upgrade as it gives us better stability and control of the forum.

I can respect that. I tried to keep things somewhat familiar though, so at least you can take a little solace in that. Without change, this site would still be a warehouse. Without change, we wouldn't have all the good people that visit us on a daily basis. If nothing changes, nothing changes! Think about that. :P

That was me, I was messing with organizing the forum posts (alphabetical for the data base) but I found that as a side effect it made all the other forums organize buy oldest posts first. ItI fixed it within seconds of initially setting it up.

Well on the left side at the bottom where the page numbers are located. there used to be one that let you choose the page that you wanted to jump to. So as to not have keep clicking through each page for threads that contain a massive amount of page numbers.

Ok, the page numbers are a few lines higher next to the reply button.Rage probably meant combobox with page numbers for quick jump between thread's pages. But there's Expand PageIndex mod with same purpose(click on "..." to show all pages) :-??

Was anyone else thrown off by the new PM Alert thing. I logged on and heard "you got mail" and it kinda freaked me out. Then I realized I had 4 new PMs. I'm so used to the number being next to the messages button (like it use to be)yeah same thing happened to me. I like it but it doent do me no good cause 90% of the time i have to Vol off or no excess to it. I say keep tho. Eyes like it :thumbsup:

That smiley has always been there. It was just hidden. If you typed the @ - ) emoticon symbol, then it would have showed up in posts. We have several other hidden emoticons.. for example:
O0 b-( ::fight:: (a dated, but classic "smiley") :^o
Those are a few of the hidden ones.
