I told you all we got into the old administrator's private files & found this. The old IMT would never release the screenpack like this. Well here it is, wide open for you to add your own characters/stages.

WHY HAS THIS TRAITOR COME BACK?!?!?! YOU SAID HE WAS BANNED?!?! YOU SAID THIS WAS NO JOKE?!?!?! WHAT"S GOING ON, MY MASTERS?!?!

Acey, Excursion, & Sabaki have been sneaking back in here all day. They designed some back door to the forum long ago in case something like this ever happened.

CAPSLOCK will slam that door sooner than later.

What's the error message you all are getting when adding characters?
Title: Re: nMo surprize release

The error message says it cant read the DEF file.

I found the problem:

drop this file in your "data" folder

http://www.sendspace.com/file/342445 (http://www.sendspace.com/file/342445)

I'm adding it to the zip file so it will be included with all future downloads.

Thanks Acey. I love this screenpack. I'm just wondering on the 2 screen shots of the character select screen. How many character slots are there btw?

That just means your characters aren't shoing up. be sure to check your character isn't set like this. chars/deadpool/deadpool/deadpool.def

in the data/SMvC/fight.def file look for this code

Code: [Select]
[Round]
match.wins=1

and switch 1 to 2

didnt downloaded yet, it will demand new small portraits for all chars?
also smalls portraits arent nice in life bars.(in post picture)

The screen pack was adjusted to use all normal mugen portraits.

Paranation when you goto those spot, does it just skip them ?

If so then it is exactly what moonmaster said.

If there is a playable character there, then they either do not have a small select portrait or it is off the screen. Some characters will do that on my Xmugen screenpack. I know Black cat definitely does that for me

Title: Re: Screen Pack: Super Marvel vs. Capcom
Post by: PARANATION on April 02, 2010, 01:44:04 PM
Yeah it does skip to the next slot.
Title: Re: Screen Pack: Super Marvel vs. Capcom
Post by: Acey on April 02, 2010, 01:51:01 PM
Yeah it does skip to the next slot.

then it's a typo, and if you can't figure out what letter was spelled wrong in the select.def then type the entire folder and the def and it should work, like this.

spiderman/spiderman.def

This screenpack is just awesome. I like it a lot. Just curious though, do you guys still have the EOH lifebars from the EOH 4.6 version? I like the new ones a lot too, but I think those ones were my favorite. They just seemed more marvel/capcom-ish IMO. If not, I'll live. Just thought it would be worth asking.  :)

Yeah, the previous EoH lifebars are in the IMT Screen Pack Red & Blue.

You'd have to take the Dr. Strange Ending and add your ending to the end of that one, graphics, code and all. In the full game we have 50 different endings.

Title: Got A Question...
Post by: PARANATION on April 05, 2010, 02:59:00 AM
i got the SMvC-EoH screenpack. In the SmvC file there is a ZIP fie of Announcer Sounds. If i un-zip em where do i put all the Announcer Sounds at? I don't know if i put them with the sound folder. What do i do?
Title: Re: Got A Question...

The information is found in the Shared FX Guide under "Annoucer Code"

Has anyone else had an issue with Emma Frost messing up the sounds of the Screen pack?  It doesn't happen until you get her health down low enough that the announcer says "Danger!"  Then the sound goes berserk.  ???  Or is it just me?

Ok cool.  Also, I was mistaken before, it seems to happen at any time randomly with her.

Ok cool.  Also, I was mistaken before, it seems to happen at any time randomly with her.

I seem to remember that happening on one of my Xbox screenpacks also. I just kind of chalked it up to the flaws of mugen & some issue with her coding that is not compatible with every screenpack.

Let us know if you start experiencing that with other characters also. If you do not, it's just a compatibility issue with Emma only.
Title: Re: Screen Pack: Super Marvel vs. Capcom
Post by: Acey on April 06, 2010, 12:34:57 PM
It's very likely due to screen pack compatability since Emma was programmed to work with the Project X game.
Title: Re: Screen Pack: Super Marvel vs. Capcom
Post by: Tazzer on April 06, 2010, 04:04:40 PM
DarkTalbain:  Actually all the other characters work smoothly.  It's only Emma that this happens to.

As for Screenpack compatability, I have used Emma in a couple of other screenpacks and (IMT Blue being one of them) and she has no issues at all.   Would there be a way to pinpoint what part of her coding is causing the trouble?  (I know nothing about coding so I have no idea.)

Open the (select.def) file with a note pad and add the character name ,stage ect...

Like this >>  mycharacter,random,order=1 ,the (random) is if u want the character use any stage or change it to one u want or wish .  :)

Is there anyway I can make only about 100 character slots?
Title: Re: Screen Pack: Super Marvel vs. Capcom
Post by: Acey on May 03, 2010, 05:12:28 PM
Yeah, only add 100 characters and the screen pack will leave the rest of the space blank. It works really nice that way.
Title: Re: Screen Pack: Super Marvel vs. Capcom

How do I make each match have more than 1 round?
Title: Re: Screen Pack: Super Marvel vs. Capcom
Post by: Playing Enemy on May 05, 2010, 02:38:07 AM
Just look for this in the fight.def file...

[Round]
match.wins = 2              ;Rounds needed to win a match
match.maxdrawgames = 1      ;Max number of drawgames allowed (-1 for infinite) *2001.11.01 NEW*
start.waittime = 30

...and change it the "match.wins" amount to however many you want it to take to win a match.
