Title: Some Stages

There has been a good deal of work going on for the stages for the MvC Project. There are still a few I missed but here is a peak to what will be in the next release of the MvC game.

In the past the screen pack music has been original but the Stages had music from everywhere. Now we're using original music for the stages too, mostly thanks to Nilakantha and R@ce45.

Some great looking stages there.

My only beef is that there's gonna be flack about Sentry's stage. Anyone whose play MvC is gonna know right off the bat that is New York City Skyline (onslaught) with a "thingy" in the middle, there's not enough variation to make it seems otherwise.

Actually that's the best part of the stage to me. We the Sentry resurfaced, his Tower just appeared as if it had always been there right on top of Stark tower. It is the exact same stage, except for the huge goliath hovering over the city. How could anyone have missed it before. I even have to position of the tower correct in the city scape according the the twin towers and everything else on the sky line.

LOL, I just noticed you didn't let the old X-lab go to waste.  :)

Wow! All of the stages are good job
Good job to everyone in the project.

PD. Maybe a "shine" in the Sentry Tower works very fine

My only problem is that I think there should be an American flag somewhere in Captain America's stage. I mean he needs something to salute right?

Here's my take on that (forgive me, I'm an ex-paratrooper, so military history has been drilled into my skull), this stage looks like it could be the Normandy Beach invasion of WWII (which had no American flags hoisted anywhere, as it was Nazi-controlled territory at the time).  Is that what you were going for, Acey?  If so, kudos, it looks good!  If I could make a suggestion (and this might be too difficult to do, so forgive me if it is), maybe put some U.S. battleships off in the distant horizon, or add some dead or captured Nazi soldier bodies strewn about with some tattered Nazi flags?  You know, stuff we can all imagine Cap pulling off single handedly!  I think that would go a long way to effectively recreate the invasion!  If the Battle of Normandy isn't what you were going for, please disregard my suggestions.  :-[

Either way, very cool!  I also like the Museum of Marvels!

Man, I can not wait to give this game a go!

The stage selection looks promising thus far, and I am so sorry I'm probably not going to be able to finish a stage I have in the works for random Marvel characters. It's only at 50% right now, sorry Acey :(

Participation in that once set of stage requests were due by October 20th. Since we're closing in on the final set of stages and the final soundtrack, it's best to have it all done, but like was said, the game won't be released until 2009 so there is a little time left.
