The creator at AM, WanteD, is well known for being a lazy bumperson, he says he'll eventually get around to finish it.

the probability of being finished is of 1%, lol. Ascended is plenty of abandonded projects. It don´t looks "sick" at all in that video. All the head sprites are the same in all movements..... with few exceptions. Spriting that char (well done not the crap seen in the video) is a pain in the butt that would be the reason of abandoning it.
