Title: In need of a portrait tutorial !
Post by: Ven@m on November 19, 2014, 05:35:41 PM
Well, I'm no new guy to Mugen, I've been playing Mugen for a couple of years, but never registered to a forum, till now. Now, let's get on with my problem : Recently I've started to use Duracelleur's Mugen Multiverse - Cross Generation of Fighters screenpack and I've been using his portraits that he made for that screenpack, but a couple of characters like Moon Knight & Black Panther for example don't use that kind of portrait. Here's an example :

So, my question is, how can I make a portrait like that ?

Hope, someone can help me ! :)

Just make an image with the exactly the same size and duplicate the sprite, making it face each direction.

For copy pasting a sprite then flipping it horizontally? Followed by copy pasting the same text on both? No not really, because it's copy pasting and flipping, not the hardest thing in the world.

Provided you match his positioning for the word start/end and where the dude stands it'll just fit in.

Hmm...then I shall give it a try ! Will see how it turns out.

Edit : Well, I actually did it. You were right, it's not the hardest thing on the world. Maybe in the future, I'll release a portrait pack, or more , why not.  :)
