This thread is the  Quint Wip

feel free to leaned a hand if you'd like.





so who is Quint?

Quint is Megaman. Dr Wiley doing the events of MMII gb got a hold experimental Time Skimmer. This device let him traveled into the future and capture Megaman and reprogram him into Quint. How did Wiley capture Megaman? Its is unknown how but is believed that in the future the Wiley wars are over, won by Megaman. Such being the case the future is said to be peaceful and thus Megaman is caught off guard by Wiley........


Rules/Suggestions:
1) Please announce your attentions to complete a set to help others avoid duplicate work.
2) If you sign up for a set, please try and complete in within one week of the date you announce your intentions.
3) All animations must use the color palette used in the prototype sprite seen below.
4) There is no one single base to use on this character. Possible character base suggestions include Megaman, Crashman, Metalman, and of course Duo's Power Fighter sprite sheet.  (Kong's Megaman is also open source.)
5) All animations need to match the current scale of the sprite seen below.
6) Do not use other Mugen Creator's sprites with out permission.

Am I the only one who can't see the pics of Quint.? I see there's a pic link in the original post for it but it won't show up and can't load it at all.

We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us.

Here's the fixed image, the pictures directly from Team Reploid don't always seem to work correctly. Anyways, can't wait to see more progress on this. :thumbsup:

Yeah as I see you put a "?" for the walk backwards. Do we need it? laspacho told me that I have to sprite everything Megaman has but he doesn't have a walk backwards.

its like that cuz Megz doesnt have one. If you want custom sprite it.



I got an ideal for a special. a double blaster just to 1 up megz. I sprite that sometime in the future.

Correction: It's a jackhammer. :thumbsup: I'm assuming Sakugarne could work like the Rush Drill in Marvel Vs. Capcom, but bouncing. :-??

OMG, NORMAL TEXT COMING...

I've got an idea from this, why not take the existing Quint work and steal suff fromre-engineer them into Rockman Shadow. I say this because if this vid. Check this out.

Rockman-S and Quint look essentially alike, the man differences being the V-pattern on Rockman-S and the face visor instead of shades.

Based on what we've got here, Rockman-S uses Sakugarne like Akuma used Misogi.

ChAoTiC's old Protoman has a beam sword hyper that we could totally steal from to use here as well.

If the jackhammer can make him teleport, there could be some strider type teleport attacks that could be done.

Also could someone seperate the bouncing jackhammer into its frames, that way it can be used for editing.

So we've got a good amount of ideas for specials and hypers. I was think Sakugarne could be a constant like Rush. Here's a rough idea of what I've been thinking.

I use the  same run sprites for forwards and backwards but its up to you if you want to make quint move backwards differently.
