Title: Open Source Shademan Sprites

I always liked the Shademan character so I started to work on him a year ago for about two weeks on and off, then lost interest in making him.  Some of these sprites got used in the Elecman character as a striker.  If anyone wants to continue to work on Shademan for the RMM project you are more then welcome to.

No offense, but would it be possible to fix Shade Man's head sprite? The way the yellow mark was sprited makes him look "bald", rather than being part of his helmet.

Angel is a Apoc wip and is not yet released.

Whomever works on him is welcome to change his design as I am not making him anymore.

No offense, but would it be possible to fix Shade Man's head sprite? The way the yellow mark was sprited makes him look "bald", rather than being part of his helmet.

If you could get me a picture explaining what you mean, I sure I can give it a shot. I think I know what your saying. I just need to make the Helm a brighter Yellow and draw in the design.

I noticed the same thing the other day when I was going through the Sprite Sheet. But awesome touch-up Manic. I also noticed that the color on is collars were brighter

Tried to add fly forward and glare... Accidentally triggered anti-alias option when made glare one and when I realized it sprite was almost done. Tried to fix what that caused and I think it was success, still be aware that 2-3 pixels could be with wrong color 'coz I didn't found those...

Welcome to the IMT site.  At this point Shademan is un finished.  Everything that has been done so far has been posted.  There is still a lot of sprites that need to be finished before Shadman can be a full character.  If you would like to help your more then welcome to.

Also, can someone add some walking and running frames for ShadeMan.
I also would like, if someone could add walking (NOT running) frames for FlashMan.

If Shademan's sprites ever get finished I would love to eventually see him in RMM.  He is one of my favorites too.  That is why I released the early work I completed on him from years back.  In case other people wanted to continue work on him for the project.   :thumbsup:

I would assume Shademan should Fly Forward and Backwards instead of running since he is one of the few robot masters to actually have wings.

RMM is only a Megaman game, no guest characters.   :thumbsup:

Yeah, but I need walking frames for his intro...

I need walking sprites for his second intro! \-/o
His second intro should be a pun on something! :)
But outside of the intro, ShadeMan wil STILL fly, I just need the walking sprites for his SECOND INTRO!

Sadly my skills are far from enough to make him. That's why I'm digging Shade Man out of his grave, taking him out of his coffin and shaking dust out of him.
Here is most up-to-date sprite sheet of him:

They are by Laspacho, Manic, Lynx Darkwood and me. I've cleaned 'em up, organized and made color separation for wing insidies and leg crystals as well as added 2 palettes and defense sprite.
So there're: intro, jump, flight, flight shooting, standing, standing shooting, petrifying special, gliding special, defense, flying dash forward/backward and hurt. Not much, yeah - enough for imitating MM7 game, not enough for RMM.
He is a community WIP, but nobody works on him now. That's sad and I want someone to take a good care of this aristocratic karaoke-loving vampire so we all could enjoy playing as or against him. :-SS

Oh, look, someone tried to make an update to ShadeMan's sprite. Really impressive so far. =D>
Unfortunately, it STILL doesn't have the sprites that I need...
...at least, I've got a good perspective of ShadeMan's head, which can be used for his intro (when he walks into the stage, with FlashMan following him and after stoping walking, doing a pose before teleporting out).
I also got an idea: Since he's a vampire, can he also use moves from other vampires?
And on a side note: He loves karaoke? Now THAT's new...
And on a secong side note: I originally wanted to work on him as well, but many sprites, that I needed, were missing, and I'm only a coder, and NOT a spriter...

Well, if THAT's the case:
I've got a few ideas. A dark orb move and a triple fire move similar to Dracula from Castlevania for example, and I'm sure, that Dimitri has got some fitting attacks as well...

I mean, REAL vampires! The ones who suck blood from virgins, turn into bats, can't eat garlic, disintegrate when exposed to sun, that kind of stuff...  ;D

thye turn to wolfs, bats or shape-shifting in general, and paralyze at target through hypnosis. (this an be treated like a freeze move.)  they man manipulate shadows. ( you can do a Zero-esc doppelganger move.) His bite can restore small amount of health.   telekinesis, psychokinesis, invisibility, summon souls, phasing with the aid of shadows , walk on walls and ceiling, dream manipulation, create illusions, create mist, or fog which can be poisonous, Resurrection (use jills zombies) healing factor, sensitive hearing (use the spider since from Zvator spiderman. ask permission first) animal manipulation (mind control over them.) some weather manipulation (this includes rain but not ice or water, why  :-??.) thats all i know of. there are many others tho. Can you tell i love vampires.

And twilight light didnt happen XD||

Well, he might vanish and send batton or gilliam knight(in wolf form) instead of him (like Shadow Man's log move) i.e. he could pretend he have such a power(transforming), but he don't have it. Though he defiantly can't use hypnotizing or other mind manipulating techs - Willy modified him for brainwashing people, but failed and as result of that Shade Man have noise crash instead(I wonder how's that even possible to make such a mistake, destructive powerful waves instead of brainwaves /:O maybe that's because Shade Man's such a bad singer :P). :-?? But he could use pushing sound waves or ones causing dizzy state(might use regular buster shot animation with his BN waves animation). Summoning swarm of battons could work too and shadow doppelganger, bloodsucking move is already there. Maybe he may have half of normal health, but after "death" resurrecting with other half... :-?? As a special intro with Mega Man, Shade Man might sings badly at microphone, MM'll trow tomatoes at him(which Shade Man likes, kinda resembles blood, and accepts with gratitude) then seeing Shade Man's not offended MM will make faces :P (silly idea though)
Of course no twilight saga stuff, only pregay era vampire references. ;*))
With that said - someone needs to make it... :(

It would work well as an hyper! Just like Strider's Legion, he would call a lot of both.

* An intro similar to Dark Dizzy from Megaman X5, where a swarm of Battons aglomerate, then Shademan appears from behind them as they fly away;

* An intro similar to Hsien-Ko in Night Warriors, where he emmerges from a coffin;

* Now for a different vampire reference, he could have a Roadroller Da! hyper, where he would drop a Mad Grinder at the opponent;
