I saw the Ryu vs Scorpion Video on Myspace. Being a huge fan of Capcom and MK i had to figure out what it was. Then came all the YouTube vids and I frantically started to DL everything I needed to re-create the fight and actually play it for myself. Funny thing is I havent really played any other fighter since I started to DL mugen.

well how i found out about it, i was surfing youtube at the time just checking out different fighting games when i found mugen. i thought wth? is this some sorta cheat, hack, or fully made game??? soo i did some researching on it and found out that it was mugen, i thought good i can download it and have fun. after i downloaded it i saw that it only came with KFM and thought wth?? soo i did more researching and found that i had to add my own stuff to it which i thought was a bit of a bummer but hey, i could have any char

. soo i got on youtube and started checking out vids on how to install chars, screen packs, and stages. i got characters and stages in at first, then got a screen pack later. after that i found EVE and wondered how the hell do i install this?! soo i got on youtube and asked a dude who later uploaded a video on how to install the EVE. after i installed the EVE, the rest was history you could say

It was an accident I found about this engine. just searching for combo videos for tekken DR in youtube when I saw a video of sailor venus and shermie of KOF fighting. I thought it was a game crossover in a game console. It was really shocking to know that you can put characters from other video games as well. This led me to addiction for mugen.....

this dude named zane was playing this game and it was called mugen and i was like what the!?

his player was tetsu while his opponent was evil ryu

I forgot how I got into it in the first place. All I know is that I failed to understand it, the DOS version was clunky as hell, and all the good creators went LinMUGEN-only for awhile, so I left.

Two years ago, I saw a video on Youtube with the late great Reu's Evil Ken and Evil Ryu. I had the old Evil Ken during my first run at MUGEN. Found myself at the Guild, and learned of the glory of WinMUGEN, fell in love all over again, and here we are.

it was early 2007 i saw a game on youtube called tales of mugen so i googled it. i want to a site called phantomcastle and picked up this game called tpc battle mugen didnt know what is was so i installed it. so i seached again and saw this cool looking site called mugen infantry and picked up eve and thats how i got into it

I put in some Naruto battle, saw Cloud fighting Sasuke. Then I look at Similar videos (Youtube is where I saw it) saw Transformers vs Mortal Kombat. After about a year I got it (weird things went wrong) I then loved it.

I remember stumbling upon this Mortal Kombat Project and saw that you had to DL the characters individually.Then I discovered Street Mugen, then the warehouse "MUGEN DEPOT", and finally Infinity.

I was looking at a mk site and saw a vid with mk vs sf and I was like WTF! I viewed it and wanted to see more so I placed it in my search engine. It took me to a bit torrent of Mugen All Char Battle Zero full game download. I downloaded it after like 8hrs! When it first showed up with all the chars Superman, Ken, Scorpion, Thor I was like this is bad @$$!!! Then I learned to change and swap out chars, stages, etc.

I discover mugen on youtube by mistake. It was on June 6 2006. I seen demitri and lillith fighting mileena and kitana. I was like, "AW, I gotta have this!" Then four hours later later, I played mugen with the first character I ever played with, Glacius from killer instinct.
