hmm...i dont really consider filipinos 'azn' because we may be situated in the continent of 'asia' yet culturally our ties to asian things like calligraphy and all that are really there

filipinos are more like mexicans, in the fact that their ancestors were taken over by spaniards so its a mix of indigenous[sp] and spanish

besides have you ever taken a big state test where it says bubble in your ethnicity you see 'asian' and the subgenres dont have filipino yet there is another bubble for filipinos

before Spanish took over, it was considered Asian (had Spain never taken over Philippines probably would be considered Asian without any doubts), so a lil mix in the bloodline can't really change it. My girlfriend is a filipino but she's more asian then spanish because she's also part chinese.
