it was a great film only thing i can say and be on the lookout for

The actions scenes are really top notch, the story has a few hick ups, but a great movie all in all.
The release of the blu-ray and dv will have extended version to help stich it up a little better and an alternative ending.

Just saw it this morning with some friends. It was great! Had a lot of fun. Lots of great humor. Lots of cool action. Neat storyline that kept me interested till the end. The ending was solid and a good transition to a new chapter for the Avengers.
I felt Bruce Banner was a little weak and whiny in this one. Characters that push friends and loved ones away because they're a danger to them all is never interesting or entertaining! Aside from that very minor, minor gripe, this movie was so great.

Actually that's something I could never get, the romance that Bruce had:
-First off: Betty Ross, who's that? 
-Second off, conceptually I can kinda wrap my head around it. It'd be an interesting idea to explore, but there's literally no build-up to their relationship.

Ya, I can see your points. I totally forgot about Betty. I find that a bit of a problem with the Avenger movies. The love interests, who weren't superheroes, took a back seat like they weren't important in the bigger picture. Pepper and Jane weren't in the movie and Betty practically doesn't exist anymore! At least Pepper deserved an appearance, like War Machine or Falcon had. Jane is a lame love interest, IMO, so I don't care if she showed up.

There was sort of some small hints of a beginning to the Black Widow/Hulk fling in the first Avengers. She seemed to "get" him in A1. She went out of her way to keep him calm. In A2, they've worked together more on that and she's gotten to know him better and likes him more. Plus it would appear the Avengers have been working together for a while before the opening of A2. So maybe that's where all the real build up happened.

My only real gripes are the Widow/Hulk thing and the last line of the movie. What a tease. Someone in my theater shouted "F*** YOU WHEDON!!!" after that.

Hope it's "fixed" in the extended cut. Other than that, ranks up there with the original and Winter Soldier as one of my favorite Marvel movies.

true they sure should do a new hulk movie but the whole betty as Res She hulk....you know they more than likely not gonna do that. Havent even introduce the regular she hulk seriously to remotely yet. Gimmie real she hulk before a betty ross version.

Speaking of, I got Marvel Unlimited and have been reading a bit of her comics for the first time outside of The Avengers and I think She-Hulk would make an awesome series with the Netflix partnership. Make it a superhuman courtroom comedy.

They really fleshed out Hawkeye in this one. I actually like/care about him now!

Considering the "Netflix subsection" of the MCU is trying to be darker and gritter, I doubt they'd do that.

As of right now, yeah. So far all they have is the Defenders stuff. But look at where the MCU is now compared to where it started. The aren't playing it as safe as they where and they're better for it. I see all sorts of potential for awesome stuff that ABC or the movies find to be too much of a risk. The upcoming Jessica Jones is a prime example of that. Maybe they can finally get that Runaways movie that's been thrown around for years off the ground through this too.

Saw movie last night!  Very dang good movie period!

Hawkeye...wow i really got to see another inside to this dude. Handled that great.
only one thing in the entire movie just had me at ..awwww cmon man  nooooooo! But ya know what, it was handled in a cool light so i can accept that i think . The movie was awesome from begining to end. Kept me glued the whole time. All the marvel movies should have this kind of essence to them from now on. Be hard to accept anything less than what avengers done in both flicks and whats hinted to in the movie and more In any new movies they making. Avengers sets the bar pretty high.

I agree. That may make people feel cheated when they see the theatrical cut. I mean, the theatrical cut was awesome. But now people are going to look at the theatrical cut as the incomplete version, before they ever get the chance to view it as a complete product, that Marvel Studios has decided to release it as.

Yea it was an awesome movie.  I'd like to see the extended cut too.  There was a scene in the trailer with a woman by the pond thor went into that wasen't even in the movie.  I also read they cut a Loki scene too, and the alternate ending.
