In genereal I agree. Helper's are overused, and a cheap way to make more move for a character, as if enough moves can't be thought of just for that character. Only 2 out of 16 chars I've done have had helpers and neither time was it my idea. Haggar probably won't have any helpers.

 ^^(PM)^ Haggar can own anyone by himself, he doesn't need help.

thing is he needs helpers. maybe not Guy but the other characters that are none existent as their own characters like carlos and lucia

Well, I've been working on Haggar some more last night, and it's official that my major sprite time will be spent on Haggar now.  :thumbsup:

Thanks for all the support everyone is providing... there will be no helpes though, unless Carlos makes his way into a Hyper (no plans so far though)  :-??

I agree on the helper issue, but a Tag team hyper with Cody and Cody would still be awesome!

Yeah, it's his stance now, but I'll still find a use for the second, older stance. I hate wasting material.

Glad to see some progress!

Hmm.  To be honest, I like the second stance better.  His forearms look strange to me in the first stance (as well as making his upper arms look small in comparison, maybe thicken his triceps?), and he looks a little bottom heavy.  But that's just my opinion. 

Anyway, good luck and thanks for creating an awesome character!

Can't wait for the release of your mike "macho" haggar ,

I think like donaldb22 (but my voice is not good for voice acting , lol) ,
I don't know what you have planned but think it would be better ,
if you put new voice clips to Haggar ,
cause even if the rendition of Sega CD souns are good , there is not so much sound clip
(I think 3 to 5 ...) ,
it could be hard if you plan to add an intro for Cody , Hugo , Guy , Rolento ,
or many other chars made yet and coming from Final Fight series .....

Whatever you plan to do I wish you luck ! :)

maybe cody or guy in the same vain as there special intros from street fighter alpha 3.

but I think you need to hear the sega cd mike haggar.

its attrocious! he sounds like an old man, mike personally comes off to me as the like of jesse ventura or a wrestler with the same gruff as hulk hogan or *insert 80's wrestler here* so if anybody is intrested in voicing mayor mike, just try and take what i said into account as all I would like to see is at least some acuracy of some of the mvc characters. *now that i think of it, venom had a crumby voice in mvc too* :-@

I'm alright about the sound quality of Sega CD Haggar Voice ,
but in this vidéo (introduction of the game) there is
first the problem of the music that is playing when Haggar is talking ,
and the problem that there is not many "in game"  sounds ,
and the voice is not very accurate ,
A new voice (and more accurate) would be so nice !
But all is up to Acey to decide , she's the creator !

About The stance I prefer the second stance ,
the first is the final fight stance , but I like better the second !

I would say you have about at 100% chance of me downloading him I am definitely hyped about it an awesome version of Haggar is just what the Mugen world needs I will be anxious to put him up against other wrestling characters and show the Mugen world what a real wrestler is capable of!!!  MIKE HAGGAR WILL BOMB THE WRESTLING WORLD!

The new sprites look really cool, but I hope you take into acount the size difference from the different sources/bases. Sometimes the upper arm (triceps and biceps) ends up looking twice as large as other sprites.
