Hi, people!! How's going?
I'm here to post some progress of my Birdy, that poor X-men Vs SF helper.
I'm working on Birdy slowly, but still working since the begin of this year. She will be a funny character to play. I mean.. she will not be an regular character, she will do lots of jokes. I'm took some inspiration from some old movies like "TopGun" and "Police Academy" series. Don't expect an Emma Frost/Wonder Woman/Psylocke like character, I have enoght of "serious" wips. Hmm, I think I can be more clear: She'll be to Emma who Dan is for Ryu.

She'll use her "mini" psychic powers, to cast some ilusions and do her things, but with no much sucessfuly...

Oh, and don't expect a Sabrethoot helper, cause I hate cliches, or not...

I'm spriting it with some Xfields' help. O Ilusionista will code her who will be on MvsC: EOH.

First off, Congrats on Birdy being the lastest addition to the EoH project.

She looks very well put togther from the screenshots. I could only imagine the limitation of sprites aviliable to put her togther. Your sprite work is amazing, so I can only imagine whats actually in store behind the screenies. Much luck to you and Ilu both.

She's looking great, glad to see another comic gal coming to Mugen. The first sprite looks a bit odd, but since you said she'll have joke type moves, I'll assume that sprite leads to something like that. In any case, looking forward to seeing more on her.

As far as I know, Eclipse is editing almost every sprites from various bases. His original sprites are just for reference.

I just need to finish to freelance works...and I will back to my mugen works

i dont think that is a good idea, there are quite a few birdy sprites that capcom did, so i think they should be used in the character. for example, arthur, thor, lou all have used the original capcom sprites in the character. And birdie has more sprites than any of them.

although i do like what i see so far

i think it should have been the team wip rather than or aswell as batman, at least then she could have gone in the eoh. plus i would have helped on jubilee, but as for batman, just not a fan of dc, batman and robin are pretty cool, but IMO they don't hold a candle to marvel and capcom characters.

I think you've misunderstood me. He is using the firing weapon sprites, if this is your doubt

But she doesn't have THAT number of sprites by Capcom, its just few sprites (I think that is less than 10).

Because he is editing a lot of people, like Black Cat, Catwoman, Emma Frost, etc

Why don't you help the WIP Jubilee that is being made? I mean if you want that one to be good, play with it and provide feedback to the one being made. It isn't like the guy stopped working on her......I think. Again as stated in another thread it is a WIP by one guy. I mean it isn't fair to try to have these creators to live up to those standards, especially when it is the guys first character.

Wow another Birdy character. Hopefully both Birdies will be awsome.
