Title: Twinimage's Holiday Release(s)! - 2014
Post by: Twinimage on December 25, 2014, 01:38:50 PM
Merry Christmas!!!!

First of my releases is this stage: Days of Future Past
In the center you'll notice right away the iconic poster tallying those apprehended or slain. To the far right you'll see Rachel and Kitty. On the far left is my favorite piece, the large sentinel head with glowing eyes and far above that you'll see sentinel's flying, patrolling the night sky.

The stage music is by J.B. Blake, also known as Orphen at the Scruffydragon forum. He was also the one to score the music for the DC vs Marvel project.

Enjoy Gift #1! :)

NOTE: This has only been tested in MUGEN 1.0, which is really the version you should be using anyway. lol :P

Gift #2 - The X-mansion stage ("Riot at the School")

This is a stage I wanted to finish since around 2009 I believe. I actually planned for this stage to be even longer! But I realized that was a bit too ambitious. What I did come up with was a pretty fun stage. What's unique about this stage is the use of thought bubbles among the telepaths. Far left is the library, where it doesn't look like much studying is going on. Middle room is the main hall, where the students are divided on whether to be on Cyclops or Wolverine/Storm's side. Far right room is the teacher's lounge which apparently has just be disrupted by students' shenanigans! This stage has a few Easter eggs in it too. Download, play and look for them! ;) :)

Special thanks to those who contributed sprites, else this stage wouldn't be as awesome as it is! Please note, if I missed someone in the credits, please let me know and I'll apologize profusely and rectify the situation immediately. :P I did my best to mention all those involved. So don't get bent out of shape about it.

NOTE: This has only been tested in MUGEN 1.0, which is really the version you should be using anyway. lol :P

Yes, they should. I don't know what measurements are required to be considered truly superjump, though.
You can download and find out. ;)

Its simply: the character should not disappear when you execute a superjump. I will take a look.

Ok, been busy with a lot of RL crap. Finally, here's gift #3! - Dazzler LIVE! Stage

Anything Dazzler related Ejmann/jr6 should get the most credit and praise. We started out working on Dazzler and her stage around 2008/9 I think? Unfortunately, I haven't heard from him in a long time. :(  I was originally just a coder at the time. jr6 is a great spriter and he worked hard on the sprites he finished for Dazzler. He created some great graphics for this stage. We originally released an old, less attractive version of this stage. I don't think we ever released this version before.

Shout out to Wizzy for the Dazzler theme. It suits her well. :)

This is probably to be the last version of her stage. In the center is of course the light show and crowd. On the right is stage security. To the left is Lila Cheney waiting to go on stage next. Originally we just had the center part of the stage, but I wanted to make it wider, with more to it. Hence, the curtains and bg characters. I hope one day I can finish Dazzler herself for you guys to play! :D

Enjoy!

thank you for sharing :)

reporting that the shadows on the x-mansion stage are not working correctly. they follow the players up as they go high from either jumping, flying, whatever else they can do to change height.

Thanks, v. I'll look into that.

I hate MUGEN shadows. Such a dumb feature, IMO. It never works well or looks good. I prefer characters have those round MvC style shadows programmed into them instead.
