i've tried myself to make one in that style and i never liked how mine tuned out.

I like McCready's stance so I basically copy his frankenspriting. Will do the same for most of his custom moves.
I might have overkill the palette separation. :-SS

Im waiting the McCready's War Machine since 11 years ago and the project is gone! But your work here is supreme, and these sprites are awesome. The code part looks so solid!
